No patch was downloaded, but maybe I missed it.

I installed the patch from today and now perp won't run at all.
All I get is the crash report window. Sometimes I get as far as the character selection screen, or even into the game for about a minute or 2 max, but then a crash.

I deleted the gbf file and re-downloaded it, same problem.

So I uninstalled the game completely, re-downloaded the install itself and re-installed and the same problem.

Sadness. Dunno what to do now, although by the sheer amount of crash reports I sent this evening I'm sure the perp guys know about it.

This does seem to happen quite a bit when im following an npc downhill. I shoot into the ground, even though I have perfect direct line of sight.

If I'm following an NPC up a hill, I have no problems.

It "could" be the calculations when you are on higher ground shooting down that are wrong.

But yeah, anyway, I also get this a lot. I've had to adapt and move till I'm level to an npc or move down hill from it.

Perhaps let me try delete the GBF file.

What I did previously is copy the GBF from my desktop to my laptop hoping that would solve the issue, but it was the same.

I assume it re-downloads when you delete it. Maybe this will fix it.

A group of us have started this corp in game. We enjoy missioning, so anyone else wanting to progress through the levels are welcome to join us.

We are obviously also going to look to pvp as we move out to the higher level areas and perhaps one day claim our own spot of land and resources.

Additionally a shout out to any other South African's playing. We'd love to have you as this is where most of us are from. So it's GMT +2 tz.

We run our own vent etc etc, blah blah.

We (or me specifically rather) are however lazy, so if you are looking for something overly organized, then no, don't bother smile But for no pressure and lazy gaming, come here. We are, however, EVE veterans, most having played for over 5 years, so we at least know our *** from our elbows yarr

Hi guys

When I load onto the terrain, everything shows, except for the ground.
All I see is the "ocean" which is under the world.

I can move my mech and do everything as usual, except, without terrain the fps is terrible as I have a whole screen of ocean. Also, obviously this sucks besides that.

During beta I had land, but since launch, nothing.

Weird thing is that I have terrain displayed on the initial log on screen with the mechs in the background.

Anyone have any idea's what could cause this? I've tried re-installing DX, my gfx drivers etc.
It's a nvidia geforce 8600m GT.
