Or maybe just allow defends to capture? I mean the point of this is to prove who's dominant, both parties can scan it out and know when it's going to be... they are more often so it's less likely to be huge groups, but this would more closely resemble the old system. This waiting mechanic is anti-fun and does nothing productive. If i'm there when it goes live, you're just making me wait, if the enemy is there when it goes live with a force that can beat mine.. they will get it.

Make saps take 5-10 mins to take, and make it capturable by attackers or defenders. Defenders get no loot.

So all you want them to do is completely halt the current development of perpetuum to focus solely on porting it to the iOS. Gee, sounds really easy, I don't know why they didn't already think of that.

I agree. This should have been done already.

Was thinking about new player owned structures that could be introduced and whilst driving past the beach on an island I thought about why those vast expanses of water have not yet been exploited.

So how about a player owned desalination plant structure a corp could set up to extract minerals only found in the sea which could be essential for any new mech/module/ammo?

Thes structures can only be installed in islands by corps who own a station which then brings emphasis on beta islands and a bonus for owning stations.

These structurs would also be vulnerable to attack so create static targets that can be attacked and defended or even open to being raided so players can come along and instead of destroying the structure they could steal any minerals extracted but not yet picked up? Possibly in an overflow container so they couldnt get everything maybe

It'd actually just be near to have a plant like this that was stationary, created resources, and had to be emptied like a silo. No ownership required anyone can get it by raiding beta. Would make people want to have some traffic on the islands.
