the GMA supports vertex shaders but uses the cpu to calculate them rather than the GPU (at least that's what intel tells me). Even if my netbook would hve a resolution lower that the minimum, which it doesn't, it should still run windowed... but it doesn't

So I'm getting the same error with a Grafics card that supports Pixel shader 2 and vertex shader 3... (Intel GMA 950). So what's the problem?

May I ask why? The intel mobile 945 has the GMA 950 grafics chipset. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_GMA#Specifications
the laptop grafics card support pixel shader 2 and vertex shader 3...
