Sorry about the typo in heading.

I am confused as to why when i equip a laser tuning it gives a blue value for cpu usage. The blue values usually means it being buffed by something. I could not find an extension that mentions tunings but it appears that something is decreasing the cpu usage?

Ok I thought I had this worked out but after I got home from work and looked at the numbers something is still off. So my base masking is 130
My Level 1 Spec ops adds 1%
My Egos Spark adds 5%
130*106%= 137.8 which is what i see in bot info with the bot activated, so great.

Now a T2 masker has a base Signal Masking Modification bonus of 35%
I have level 4 Signal Masking which adds 8%
So the equipped signal masker should have a value of 43%
But When I equip the masker it shows a Signal masking modification value of 45.8%

Where is that other 2.8% coming from?

When running the masker my bot info shows 200.91rF value for signal masking which is (137.8*145.8%)

So what the hell. I am trying to make a equation so I can calculate how far I can be spotted. I know I can look at the effective signal masking value with the Masker running but that doesn't really help me with theoretical. Like, how much will another point in masking help me or how much will a t4 help me.

I can only assume I must be missing something else which makes signal maskers work better?

I forget what its called. Its one of the million NIC ones, it gives +5 detection and +5 masking.

My second question wasn't relating to the spark though if that is why you are asking.
