The conversation that sparked my suggestion came from a channel. I forget if it was help or general chat but it made me want to put this suggestion up on the forum. I personally wanted somewhat of a ranged chat (either within the sector or maybe anyone within a certain distance could hear it). The bubble idea was from someone else on the channel and while I'm not necessarily a fan of it, I would much rather have it over nothing.

Upon re-reading over my post I see that it could be taken as I'm saying either one way or the other and there can be no alternatives. However, I meant for the overall suggestions stated in this thread to be less of an actual hardcore stance and more of a way to bring out other people's suggestions to a possible fix. My apologies as I was a little intoxicated at the writing of this thread on the previous night. Please don't tell me to leave or go play wow. I rather enjoy this game and if I wanted to play wow I would be there. This game is much more fun for me.

Thank you.

Could we get chat channel for the current sector that you are in or possibly the ability to say in "bubbles" above your mech? Sometimes it is necessary to talk to multiple people who are not in your squad but in the general area and not have to include the entire game or go through the trouble of inviting multiple people to a channel.

Respond with X if you think this is a good idea. o.O

PLEX just made it easy, anonymous and tradable. Mind, CCP do not sell any ISK or anything else of in-game items. They just made and item, that is equal to one month of game subscription, and made it tradable between players.

When a game company sells an item to players that CAN AND IS traded on the open market for real in game money then the game company is selling in game power for real world cash. It doesn't matter how many middle men there are.

Everyone is constantly talking about how Eve is so amazing and how it is so similar to this game. I for one played Eve for a little bit and it was a pretty good game. However it had an item shop that added to the power of players. You could buy PLEX (pretty much a month subscription) and then sell it in game to other players for ISK (real game currency). I really hope this game never goes that route.

How much of a difference does the lvl  of a decoder affect the CT you get out of a reverse engineering?I KNOW THAT if you use a higher level decoder than the required level you get a better ratio but I'm looking for some stats so I can evaluate how high of a decoder to go and if it is worth it. I used a level 4 decoder on an item that required level 2 decoders and got a 60 time and material ratio. I also used a lvl 1 decoder on an item that required level 1 decoders and got a 50 time and material ratio. Does this mean that each level on the decoder that you go above the minimum on a reverse engineering you get +5 to material and time ratio?
