Topic: No shadows

I am having difficulties with shadow rendering or their lack off.
I maxed out all settings but the game renders no shadows at all.
PC is a Xeon Quad 3350 running at 3.5 ghz. GPU is a Radeon 6970 with latest drivers.
Running on Windows 7 x64.

when you see a small lit area around you bot - thats what the DEVs call "night".

Shadows also don't look very good and they're a huge resource hog.
Hopefully we'll get better ones soon or at least more efficient ones.
