Unfortunately for you the routers that have issues are all in Germany.
Is it a greek router?

I'm on the East Coast of the US. So.. what's my problem?

Fire up pingplotter or winmtr and see whether you also have packet loss on the way to the server.
Same problem as yesterday, line 15 hop covered by Cogent Communications in USA, 149.6.110.42. Most of the ping is coming from this hop. Showing 30% packet loss overall...
And I can't login now it's so bad...
You need to get servers in London.

Here's 1000 samples pingplot for today.
You need to get servers in London.
or maybe put it up into a cloud so its not in one location (i know that needs a different servercode)
The game is just unplayable again, and I doubt it is trace related.
You can see my traceroutes with profiler, the values are fine, Pingplotter shows no obvious problems. The same time I'm unable to dock on gamma, while on beta it is weird, but I'm able to undock, move and dock again, just with sometimes massive delay (behaves like lag). Is it possible that your running on virtual server that is in any limit (be it disk space, Memory or similar)?
The same time I cannot login with new account, and I see other having same problem.
Edit on gamma even safe log is not working
I choose a character and nothing happens. I see only the character selection screen
update: now works, I went to the game
Server crash again.. Everyone disconnected at same time...
This was intentional because even I couldn't log in anymore. Restarting the server now, let's see if it does anything.

ahh ok. no worries..
Has this been fixed?
Apparently?
So was it just a server reset that did it?? Can i get my ticket resolved. been like 5 days
We have seen a big improvement since the restart, but lets see how things go after it's been running for a week or two.
I think the server should be restarted on a more regular basis. I know it can & has gone for weeks with out needing a restart but it would seem bad practice to only restart when the server NEEDS it. usually by then people are complaining.
We're fixing some server memory leaks in today's patch which were the likely cause for this.

you moved on form normal potatoes to sweet potatoes ?

Eww.. Satellite internet...
Although otherwise claimed, I assume it will take 5 years for satellite based internet to get a good deal, and assume it needs 5 more years, before satellite internet beats cable for oversea distance.
