AP can't walk diagonally.
*Can not, if the adjacent tiles occupied.
And yet it is connected with the fact that the client does not know whether the tiles employed TREES (for example). Drawing goes with delay and change the route.
thats because the autopilot calculates a path once for the whole route, based on what your client knows.
then, when terrain updates and suddenly the path is blocked, it will only recalculate a route for a short segment, which will often lead to strange, less optimal routes.
after all, the AP is just a "hack" with many flaws, especially those Chemist pointed out.
