Topic: 100% Server side game - remote view, control etc. only - go Devs

This Century more games will become 100% server side with the client only using a simple remote viewer to play the game,  kinda like  Teamviewer, Logmein etc etc

The technology is improving.



Since we at Perp have already decided to start unloading more to the server, side lets just take the plunge and run everything 100% server side

nice dream... look at steams newest feature, In-Home-Streaming. they are currently testing such things a bit more realistic.

also, what exactly would you gain from such a feature? more lag and worse grafics (since you wont use your high-end PCs grafic card, but something that can be rendered by a server for several hundred players simultaniously.
