Steam will bring in new players, that is a fact. Now only how many will stay and play the game actively is to be seen. And a lot of that depends on how the game evolves and get updated with new content. But creating content isn't free, so I wonder how they will handle that, as I guess the current system isn't bringing in a lot of extra past the payment for the running costs of the company.

Of course I could be fully wrong.

They said trials are on hold until the server/ISP are at least up to 1994 internet standards.

Tux, 18:00 CEST, not 16:00 .... Assuming forum times are same as server times.
