Topic: FIX THE KILLMAIL BUG>>> NOW!! PLEASE

For some reason the timer on agression for mails is extreamly, yes extreamly, short.  I believe that is is just under 10 seconds or so, but again unsure at this time.  Please look into this issue as its causing a lot of stupid losses.

If you see all of the damages are completely messed up as well as the number of people involved is, again, completely messed up.

Please fix this issue as its making lot of people look like dumb ***, when in fact they are out numbered and out gunned.  Also its really messing with the point system on the KB's as well.

and btw there was a court order quite a few years ago. if you buy software you have to be aware that it can be broken in general. so if you buy broken software then its your problem... tongue

Alright, what do we have to do here to get this fixed?  Sacrifice a virgin to the DEVs?  Bribe with booze, drugs, and money? Offer up Jelan as the DEVs personal cabana boy?!?!?!?

Kill mails still bugged, plz, plz, plz fix these, it makes alot of us nuts.  Missing damage, missing players on the kill, mechs looking like they popped with 50 hp damage, it's just frustrating...

As far as I understand this has been fixed and will be deployed tomorrow. (It doesn't include EWAR yet though.)

There was a bit of a dilemma how long the timeout should be, which clears your previous combat/killmail session if there is no damage done anymore and noone died. We decided for 5 minutes for now, this should be enough to separate sessions from each other.

Devs, I know you have a grand solution in store for ewar on killmails, however:

fuuu smile I BEG OF YOU, PLEASE MAKE ALL EWAR MODULES DO 0.000000000001 DAMAGE IN THE MEANTIME smile fuuu

Its simply not fair to ewar specialized pilots to exclude them and or force them to use guns. This has gone on for far too long. Please at least allow them to get on killmails before you implment your grand new ideas.

really,

combat log is showing ECM and Drain/neuting - > why cant you log that in a killmail too. is that to much data to store for each bot?

but you could start with adding succesfull demobs and supressors to combat log before that wink
