Topic: [Request] Set Route feature

Okay before I start. I want to say that in no way am I saying for this feature to be an autopilot feature.

The idea is to reuse the assignment system's waypoints for a visual route to a selected destination.

So the user can pull up the world map and select an outpost or some position on the map and right-click and select "Set Route". A the assigment waypoints will high light the direction to go by placing a point on the teleporter that is needed to make their way to the end point etc.

Display points on Radar and World Map : (A) ------ > (B) ------> (C) ------> (D) not route lines are needed just the waypoints.

The agent of course has to manually move to the destination, but gives them a visual direction to follow and can be very handy for new agents etc.

This isn't new...DEV's already said they wanted this...

Only in a automatic function.

+1 for this feature, they also mentioned taxi npcs you can set on follow on specific routes, a long while back.

It would be nice to set routes on the map, name them and then when on the terrain move to the start/end point of any of the routes and press "Run Travel Route [NAME]?" as a UI button.

Client side settings perhaps? That way you could set hauling routes from teleporters to terminals making hauling a bit more automatic and also fun to sit back and watch rather than intensively control.

Probably one of the most anticipated features since launch is the autopilot. Good news everyone, the time has come. You will be able to add waypoints in a certain order to create routes. When the autopilot is engaged, it will follow the route. Although plants that may grow in the path will block the robots, it’s worth noting that there are already many paths connecting the main landmarks that are cleared of these annoying vegetables. Have fun finding them and plot away!

Why is it called Zombiepilot?* Because it is really dumb and will literally do nothing more than try to lurch its way towards the next waypoint. Braaaiiinns!

If I recall they decided not to add in the waypoint system for the zombie walk to use.

I haven't been around long at all, you know I just started playing as I'm writing this now, so I have no idea what your hitting at, could you please explain in extreme detail, with bullet points, to what, and whom you are referring.  As to what was pulled out, when and what, as well as what time exactly, and why in a certain 2-3 day period, and not a 1-4 day period.
