Topic: Returning Player

Hey guys. I played back in August, and I want to give this game a go again. Should I keep my old character, or make a new one? Any other information would be helpful too.

Re: Returning Player

depends if your old char was only a few days old & has hardly any EP spent smile

Re: Returning Player

Pretty much that.
Have 10 in navigation, and no more than 2 in anything else.

I would just keep it since you already have lvl 10 in Nav.

Welcome back to Perp! I'd definitely keep your toon. yarr

Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome.

Re: Returning Player

Yep since they deleted the stats it doesn't matter what you specialised in back then, so definately keep it

Re: Returning Player

The only difference I can think of is the free 15 days of trial.

But your existing character probably has that in addition to atleast 30 more days of EP, so you'd be losing more then you gain by starting over.

As Jelan says, there aren't any specilizations anymore, so even if you wanted to switch from Indy to combat or vice-versa, you're character will still have more EP then starting a new one, however you won't have the unallocated 20K EP pool to get you started in your new career.

More EP is always better, even if its not specifically where you want it for now smile
