Topic: artifact scanning seems to be FUBAR

1) Artifacts are no longer dropping the minimum of  3 items.

2) Artifact scanner charges are now the same (more expensive) price everywhere (is this a new feature or a bug?)

3) Unless the artifacts are hiding from me, I don't think they are respawning on NV after being discovered (I need to check on this some more - there are a lot less than 10, but more than 10 minus # found).

1) That rule only applies to level 1 artifacts on beta islands.
2) The lower prices at outposts was a mistake on our side which has been corrected today.

So when will be able to reverse engineer and produce them for ourselves?

And what are the refresh timers on them?
If I've got some I can't get to or don't want to bother with (honestly, Tier 1 contacts are almost never worth the cost of the probes expended to find them) how long should I have to let them languish before they'll be replaced?

There are currently no refresh timers, you have to find at least one if you want a new one to spawn.
(Or wait for a server restart when all of it gets reset.)

Geoscanner charges function as a small NIC sink in the game, so we have currently no plans to make them manufacturable.
