LOL not the copywriting I would have gone with, but Perpetuum would explode if it was to be featured on Steam.
That gave me woody. Thanks Bishop
My fervent hope here is the devs are waiting until they have a few more features implemented before going hog wild on advertising.
Edit: Double post!

Mine as well... I am sure it is the majority of peoples hope
I must confess, it gave me a massive boner, and then a wet spot.
I demand a steam key for damn game when they go steam.
Whats Steam?
Whats Steam?

Yeah, advertising Perpetuum via Steam would be great. But then we would have a problem with running multiple clients, would we?
No, we wouldn't. Afaik eve running multiple windows and have adds in steam.
bishop, it needs a line of text like the eve add
"now with terraforming and player built outpots"

Like you would do it now, copy the client directory and add an shortcut.
you can even run perp from steam now, just create a link inside steam.
that will enable activating the steam-overlay for perpetuum, and with F12 you can make screenshots that you can upload to steam.
I've been running it through Steam so my friends see I'm playing and ask about it. Got a few folks playing that way. Couple of them are here to stay, some couldn't get into the game and have stopped playing.

+1 Point to me
No server levels are good enough as it is atm, and the devs would have to pay a fortune to steam, money they could spend making the game better.... Maybe in the future.
yes YES OMG YES!! *jizzes pants*
lol dude that would be so awesome tho the devs might want to hire body guards See See Pee may try to get em whacked if they do it

As far as I know not all games sold on Steam got their DRM system or works on Steamworks. Especially mmo's I would think are in that, as you buy the game from Steam, gets a code that you then use to activate an account on the developers website. At least that is how it worked with one of the earlier mmorpgs I bought on steam.

I'm not interested in conspiracy theory... Conspiracy fact on the other hand... ^^ Have you looked at some of the recent history (last three to five years) of banking and other such activities in Iceland?...
