The server lag currently is so unbearable its almost unplayable unless your doing something other than mining. I have never really ever had lag issues however today is the worst ive ever experienced. I pay monthly like everyone else and would like to see this situation fixed, until then you can count on me not playing till it is resolved.

Routing problems are outside the Dev's control.

I'm noticing a lot of lag too but there is also no change in my lagometer.
I am sure the database is okay but it does looks like a slow down in database calls.
Open the games console and type openprofiler and then run the trace.
Network issues are always a pain.
I have 100MBit cable connection, a stable 40-60 ping in all games except perp where I get huge lag spikes from time to time. :S
My connection is a 22/4 meg. Its usually stable,even to the Japanese servers I some times play on. I've been seeing serious spikes over the last little while.
