Topic: Web Page Energy Counter

Nothing spectacular, but something that helps tie Nia back to Earth;

Display a running counter of the total amount of Energy credits transfered back to Earth. This gives us something to look at while at work.

AC, with the help of the new story teller and that web page, can slowly expand on the concept of these two worlds tied together and give us something more to think about than just blowing up bots. With little effort taken away from the mechanical improvement of the game.

Good, bad?

Re: Web Page Energy Counter

What would be the in-game correlation to this?  When the energy credit system comes into the game, maybe?

I dont see this being anything good until its actually a counter of something relative in-game that has some sort of bearing.  Even if its a counter of how much of this energy stuff has been collected/used, it still has no bearing on the player to know what that number is, therefore its pretty useless.  Maybe when it hit certain milestones, or just certain intervals that triggered something in the world would be something to look forward to.  It would have to be something that was triggered at least once a week to keep people interested, and worth EVERYONES collective time to contribute.

I would have absolutely no motive to watching this clock/ticker if it didnt have some bearing on my actions in the game.

->You just lost The Game<-

Project Perpetuum until has not reached a state where the transfer of energy has begun. This huge milestone will coincide with the introduction of the energy point system and will be reflected in both in game features and lore. At the moment the Syndicate is in huge distress, as the amount of resources invested to fight for territory on an alien planet are vast and return is as of yet dubious.

We don't have an exact date yet, but we are going to launch a new website with a much clearer structure and a lot more focus on lore.
