For over four years, The Dragoon Brotherhood has travelled across numerous MMOs and has shown the qualities which has set us apart from every other clan we have encountered. Being a Dragoon means you embody respect, loyalty, confidence, strength and bravery in the game and also as a member among us. The greatest point however, is the company that a Dragoon keeps. You will be with a close unit, brothers, who have travelled together playing MMOs, and setting the bar for success for every game community we have touched.

Our aim for Perpetuum, is not only to continue our unique and strong presense in the game, but to also meet and play with members from all over the world who are harmonized by our core ethic of brotherhood. We aim to completely dominate our opponents on the battlefield while respecting traditional Dragoon values of respect, strength, bravery, and a willingness to grow and learn.

The Dragoon Brotherhood is a corp that strives for excellence, but does not exclude based on build choices, or ability. Instead we pride ourselves on not only being a strong, well-organized unit, but teachers to our own to hone and improve our skill.

What shall I expect from the Dragoons?

The Dragoon Brotherhood is a strong social corp, that values friendship, brotherhood and community above all things. We are an EU timezone based corp, but that does not mean we do not have members from all over the world, it just means that all inside the corp understand that our events will be scheduled with the europeans in mind.

Our primary aims ingame is to excell as a PvP group, and we aim to accomplish that goal through our primary values of friendship and brotherhood.

Throughout our history we have been a huge corp, we have a been a quiet corp, but this does not bother us. Instead we aim to build and exceed by our own standards and aims, and not the supposed aims of what other people may think.

What we are NOT:

We are not a corp for casual players that expect everything in return for nothing. This corp values members that are ready to take us seriously and are willing to grow with us. Members are expected to use ventrilo 100% of the time, and are expected to be involved with the Dragoons, and only the Dragoons.

We expect a certain level of competency in the games we play, but that doesn't mean we wont help you, we value the atmosphere we have of besting ourselves and helping others to do so. A player must be able to stand on their own (both in game and in researching new information to learn more about the game), but also needs to actively participate as part of the team.

Our Mission Statement

Over the years The Dragoon Brotherhood has travelled many MMOs and has touched a large amount of communities in our own way. We do not exist for any one specific game. Our aim is to meet and play with members and expand our superb community to achieve our goals without sacrificing the very thing that makes us brothers. We can proudly say that we have members from all over the world and we have retained all types of members for a number of years. It is with all this in mind, that we aim to accomplish everything that can be done, while utilizing our core strengths of friendship, teamwork, respect, itegrity and most importantly brotherhood.

Core Rules
The Dragoon Brotherhood only accepts members into its ranks that are of similar personalities, goals and values to its own. All of our members support and follow our core guild rules and anyone who cannot, is removed. Our core rules and values have served us well since 2006 and continue to be the guiding principles behind moving the guild forward.

Also remember that being a member means you are on vent. If your playing an MMO with us, you have to be on ventrilo, 100% of the time. If you're not cool with that, you're not cool with us.

Respect
A Dragoon must always have respect for a fellow brother. You should do everything to help a fellow brother, and swear allegiance to a fellow brother. You should maintain respect of a brother's privacy and should never give away any personal information of which is shared with you. Never give out information on the guild, without the authority. You should also have maximum respect for the leadership, follow your seniors, never dis-respect them, and never think you can take your own initiative in a situation without the authority to do so. TheHidden01 is the King, and leader, you serve him first, and no one else before him.

Honesty
A Dragoon is honest and right to their brothers. When things happen, be honest, and help improve the situation. Never seek to be deceitful, or to trick a fellow brother, and do everything you can to tell the truth. On top of this, if you go away then post on our absense thread and let your brothers know. Remember, leaders are not responsible for remembering absenses, you are, and the best way to do this, is by posting in the absense forums.

Unity
The Dragoons believe so very strongly in respect, and teamwork. Always fight and work together, and when it comes to conflict do everything to make sure your brothers win. A Dragoon lives by a philosophy in combat, "One on All, All on One". This basically means if someone disrespecting the Dragoons, you fight them, no matter what, and if someone attacks a Dragoon, all Dragoons are responsible for fighting, no Dragoon sits out.

Knowledge
A Dragoon is responsible with learning the best way to earn the respect of their members. A Dragoon should do everything they can to be aware of events, rules, ranks, and get to know their fellow members. Learn about them and understand who they are. You are responsible at the very least in the Dragoons it to learn every piece of information about us as possible.

Friendship
The most important part of the Dragoons, bar all the rules, is friendship. Work to make friends, and be a go to guy no matter what. Always put the Dragoons first, and focus only on Dragoons. This means no connection with any other guilds. Do everything you can to be there for your brothers, and never let them down. When the Dragoons recruit, we recruit you for WHO you are, not the class, or the character you play.

The way we see it, you break one, you break them all.

Dragoon Ranks

Potential
The newest members of the Dragoons, these passed applicants are brought in and trained in the early achievement system of the Dragoons. They are tested in three different tests which although not too difficult, tests if a member is truly a Dragoon. This is the most basic rank, and holds no authority. Upon joining, a Potential is placed in the recruiters crew and trained by that individual.

Responsibilities:- To grow, and pass the Potential's Trials.
Privaleges:- Allowed to attend Dragoon events, and limited access to guild resources.

Knight
Once a Potential has passed their trials, they will become a full member in everything. They will be given membership access across the board and have freedom of speech throughout guild meetings and other events. This is our full member rank, and during this time a Knight will remain with their crew.

Responsibilities:- Maintain respect for their Crew, and learn the ways of the Dragoon.
Privaleges:- Full Membership Access to Dragoon property

First Mate
Once a Knight has shown promise they maybe chosen by their Captain to be a First Mate. A First Mate is the assistant to the Captain, and second in command of the crew. Their Captain will teach them the recruitment process, and together the two will work on the prosperity of the crew.

Responsibilities:- Learn the recruitment process, and be responsible with crew management.
Privaleges:- Basic recruitment privaleges, second-in-command to a Captain.

Captain
After proving themselves as a very strong influence as a leader underneath the Captain, a First Mate will be promoted to Captain. A Captain forms their own crew, under their own gaming style, and is responsible with recruitment, member management at the basic level, and dealing with the day to day running of the crew. Every Captain is expected to recruit until they reach a crew size of 6, and will also be asked to choose a First Mate when they are ready.

Responsibilities:- To look after their crew.
Privaleges:- An entire crew.

Grand Marshal (Rank 2)
A Grand Marshal or more commonly called Rank 2, is a Captain that has proven great leadership and has therefore been promoted to a senior Captain. Although they too have a crew, the expectations of the crew eases up, giving the Grand Marshal freedom to only require 1 other recruit. A Grand Marshal as well as leading their crew, manage large departments in the guild, and sit on a council of Grand Marshals that work as an advising team to the King. Often a Grand Marshal is a very experienced and respected member that has proven the tests of time.

Responsibilities:- To manage their division, be a good councillor, and to manage their crew.
Privaleges:- Membership on the council and more freedom in crew management.

King
The King is the outright leader of the Dragoons and can add, change, do anything, whenever they feel the need too. There is always only one King and that is currently TheHidden01.

Responsibilities:- Lead the guild.
Privaleges:- Everything.

Well here we are already ingame, we are modestly subscribed with a few of us sampling the game. Like I suspect many gamers we are pretty fresh faced and so we are looking to grow with whoever likens towards our style.

Oh, and we are the first corp to recruit in the new look Perpetuum forums, that's a shameless point, but something nonetheless tongue

If that's unsettling to you I am sure you can get help for that. Especially if you see homosexuality in the term "brother". And the balls touching, which you must have heard is a direct point to that hehe.

Unique training methods is simply a process of intergration. Sounds awful is an opinion. Proven pass rates is a fact.

I have just editied our ranking system, as last night we decided to go back to an old style to accomodate recent increases of membership across several of our other games.

In Perpetuum we are still quite small however, and this isn't an issue for us, we work with what we have wink
