M2S crew are cool dudes. Don't be scared.

Also, field cans, which have unlimited space you can move ore into, have a 15 minute timer when closed. They have a 100M range so drop one in the middle of your mining field and hold it open. Make sure you can get to terminal/outpost within 7 minutes to do a turnaround and hauling if on one character. Use a sequer to haul btw. GL!

It takes us less than 20 mins to go anywhere on alpha with 10+ miners and will drain the fields. Hauling back to beta afterwards will take a little longer but nothing thats not already done. All this will do is have beta corps clearing alpha islands of ores more than they do now.

Why do you persist in wanting to make others play your way? Play the game and leave others to their way. If you don't like transport assigns, don't do them!
Stop trying to have them nerfed because you want everyone to play your way.

As for giving devs "input" forget it, they already know what they are doing and nothing you say will change it. You could've made 3.2 Million NIC in the time you wasted posting walls of text here.

It's always fun to see players that obviously haven't played on beta islands complaining.

If you went to see instead of reading trash here, you'd see that getting on and off beta isn't that difficult most times. Many find ways and get by fine. Play with others and you may be surprised at what can be done.

You couldn't solo 19? Whats up with the weakness? They should have all just died when inside 500M from your glow-power!

No, its just Perps server atm. I can connect and dl from UK/Russia/China/Japan/Australia at 1-1.5MBs right now. Clean network and fast connects. There are 22 hops between me and Perp servers currently. The slow part is the last 2 at their end.

I'm confident you would at that Glimpse haha!

On a 20MB dl 2MB ul connection it shouldn't take me 30 minutes to get the perp*.gbf files updated especially when its only 353 megs.

Yes I have a 183ms trip to Hungary but comeon guys.. surely you can put your files on a decent pipe so it doesn't take half our playtime to download.

If you really don't have the space, I could probably do it for you on my PC and US players would be taken care of smile

P.S. no I'm not dl pr0n also. Nothing going but this browser session and Perp updating.

Pretty cool. Thanks for doing this. I look forward to many more.

The posters are a great idea that maybe can be done just a little better. You could add tear-offs to the bottom with the PO URL and picture of a cool Heavy Mech to remind them what they have in their hand. Visit the shop weekly to replace the torn up poster smile

The 'cast was pretty well done.. remember to always speak to the mike as a few times you went real low.. great to have different corps on each show.. sometime grab a newb player and an experienced player together, let the new person ask questions of the experienced. Maybe "10 questions a new player wants to know" segment kind of thing. Lot's you can do I'm sure you know.

Well done, thank you much!
Be well.

Supply / Demand. Where there is demand, supply would be created. With over supply as we have now, prices lower and corporate wallets stay stuffed and cargoes fill with ore waiting for demand to be used. There are corps with plenty of bots waiting for the need to be used. There are corps with many millions of Units ore waiting for demand/need to be used. As the player base stifles and stutters, the existing demands slow further so builders have no incentive to build.. so supplies dry up. As demand increases, so will supply. Unfortunately for gamers, we are all impatient and need regular fixes of joy happy shiny and we don't like to have to wait for too long which is a really short time for most. Devs.. you have plenty of talent and capacity to fix instead of continual nerfing so please.. Git R Done!

P.S. If this has any relevance to the current topic it is purely by accident and should not be held against this poster.

I'm not sure if this is new or not.

If you recycle a stack of items you do not get the correct multiplier of high end materials items returned according to number of items. Unstack them into individual items and then select them all and recycle, then you get the correct returned items.

Tested a few times with different mods recycled.. always the same result. Individual stack vs stacked items, individual gives total from number of items, stacked does not.

Thank you,
Be Well.

Which patch pissed people off? What elements of the patch pissed people off the most?

I guess I could search the forums. But my guess would be the new commodity needed for t2 - t4 items?

It wasn't just 1 patch that pissed off the carebears, it was the cummulative patches and the apparent lack of interest the dev's showed to the requests and comments of the non-pvp community.

That's not to say that the changes made for the PVP side were not needed, but even to this point we have not seen anything to enhance non-pvp play styles; this MAY change with the next patch, but we have yet to see how its actually implemented. It looks however as the geocaching is going to require combat support, even on alpha, but I'll hold judgement until I see it.

One particular point, that shows the general attitude, is containers. With the major nerfing of mine nodes, there is much less ore to be had per area than previously. The mining community made a very reasonable request to have the range of the containers slightly increased, or even the addition of a more expensive container with extended range. The player response was basically quite whining and deal with the change and nothing was said by the dev's.

That is just one example, and maybe I am wrong in this, but I can't think of even ONE thing positive thing that is PVE/Industry related to be changed.

So yes, people got pissed at being ignored and assumed, maybe even correctly, that this wasn't the game for them and left. If the game doesn't need carebear types than they can be ignored, if it wants or needs them, there concernes must have equal weight.

TL'DR; Shut up, mine, and like it; so I can go have fun blowing bots up.

And yet just a little later they make cans 100M range for us, add new bots new mobs new searchable loot etc. Wow! TY DEVS for listening to the players and responding so fast.

Everything dies eventually. I am having fun and enjoying the steady additions and improvements they're doing. Some changes I haven't liked as no one can. This is not a "I Win" game for the twitchers.. it's a mature gamers field to be able to see the potential not whats in your face right now. If you want instant gratification from everything you do then this is probably not for you. If you can see past your next cheeseburger then you may enjoy the long term scenario that Perp will be.

Need help in-game? It's there to be had.

Just do eet!

I also noticed I am getting a replacement Arkhe immediately as well not waiting the 10 minutes.

If you have an available bot its not supposed to give you arkhe. If none available its supposed to give you one immediately. The 10 minute thing is if you die multiple times in small period of time I think.

Thanks much. Pretty colors big_smile

End game content should start arriving in 2022. Between now and then I'm sure the makers have many plans to fill in the current and near future content. TY all for your ideas suppositions rumors and death-knell cries. Please carry on.

The market is what we make it. Need something or see a need? Help fill it by manufacturing items. Need T3, T4 items.. try to ally with a corp that holds beta island so you can get materials for those items. You cannot just wait for others to create game, this is a player driven economy. As for not being able to go to beta, you just need to be a little humble at first and deal with community. You may be pleasantly surprised what can be done with a little more effort besides logging in and killing a few bots. Good luck.

Maybe they should take away your thousands of bots so you have reason to make more to blow up.

looks like a reasonable explanation, thanks.
