Tried in excely 2007(laptop) and 2010(desktop) neither worked properly :<

Still cant replicate the import issue

Well I thought i had fixed it, but as my excel skill are average i am unable to...

Thought ill add the changes i have added since Black Flags' version

  • Split up the NEXUS modules

  • Reworked the Weapon Optimal range, Should be working as it should now.

  • Added a Reset Imported Button

  • Perpetuum Fit Tool now uses Exported agent data from Perpetuum Tools, Agent Exports from Perpetuum Planner are still supported, but not all extensions will show up.

  • Added Range of Tile based scanning charges

  • Increased base speed and mass of assault combat robots and their Mk2 variants.

  • Re-added Low Slot ONLY ONE LWF fitted Warning, (some how I lost it)

  • Added Harvested per Cycle

  • Added Arkhe & the Mk2 variant for all you New players (although not all Bot Bonuses have been added as a rewrite is needed)

Previous version changes:
v2.03 Beta

  • Added % Mined or Harvested for Miners or Harvesters

  • Added Mined Amount per second, (Harvest to follow)

  • Added Shield Absorption

  • Fixed (almost) Damage Modifiers of Weapons.

v2.02 Beta

  • Fixed Various formula typos or wrong formulas being used & some wrong cells used.

  • Added Rounding functions to CPU & Reactor values (they may be 1 or 2 units difference)

  • Fixed Name Boxes for Mk2 robots,

  • Also Planned Levels of Mk2 Bots additional Bonus are not used yet, just only imported

  • There are missing extensions in Perpetuum Planner, These are highlighted in RED. You will have to add them manually in the Planned column

I have taken over development of this tool...
And have started a new thread,
http://forums.perpetuum-online.com/topi … continued/

A BIG THANKS TO BLACK FLAG FOR STARTING THIS..

I am going to continue this to the best of my ability, my Excel skill are average..

Use this spreadsheet to figure out which extensions to get to fit that gear you just got/want to get, or would like to know what gear you can use based on current extensions.
This works in conjunction with the Perpetuum Tools export function, its also has limited usage with Perpetuum Planner.  Simply use the import button to import your planner extension data.  Be Aware the Perpetuum planner is out of date and some extensions are obsolete and some are not in the program.

Perpetuum Fit Tool v2.05 - BETA (EXCEL Spreadsheet ONLY)
Perpetuum Fit Tool v2.06 - BETA - unprotected (EXCEL Spreadsheet ONLY)

Its in BETA as module/bot stats still need to be updated.. Please post any discrepancies in regard to this....

If you have any recommendations or requests for future versions, please post them in this thread.  (An exe version or google docs post will not be made due to the complexity of this spreadsheet.  Please note that this spreadsheet is protected and any modification is only possible with the authorization of myself.)

Excel and Macros

For this fitting tool to work properly, the Macro Security settings need to be changed, so that Macros can be run...
To do this.
For Office 2003
For Office 2007
For Office 2010

On the subject of Hungarian Mathmatics, what is the formula for Shield Ratio and why doesn't it factor in surface size for the displayed value?

i have worked how its all done, and added it to the sheet.

On a different note,
Any one got a clue how the NEXUS bonuses are worked out?
For Indy:
Base Value is 2%
with level 8 Extension Bonus is 9.84%
For Fast Ex:
Base Value 2%
with level 8 Extension Bonus is 9.26%

No matter how i have the formula i cant get this value.....

let me look into it, ill have to obtain some modules to compare numbers

i have tested it,

Had Level 1 Extensive helioptris harvesting which harvested 677, increased to level 2 and the same amount was harvested...

Completed the % amount mined last night.

Figured out the % harvested amount this morning and found out that the Extensive Plant Extensions are bugged.

Sweeeeeettt the fitting excel sheet is working like a charm.

Now for another quandary...
Mining Amount % and Which Hungarian Maths is being used now??

You would not believe the way that it is calculated, something like a percentage of a percentage plus a percentage.

I think Black Flag is not playing any more.... He has been kicked from his corp.....

I am currently refining the sheet for personal usage, but alas as Black Flag has not given me permission to publicly distribute it, it will just stay personal.

FYI.
Work done so far....

  • Fixed Various formula typos or wrong formulas being used & some wrong cells used.

  • Added Rounding fuctions to CPU & Reactor values (they may be 1 or 2 units difference)

  • Added cycle time calculations for Miner & Harvester Modules…

Working on now....

  • Remote Armor Repairers, Accu, Amount & Cycle Time Fixed/Added

  • % Mined or Harvested for Miners or Harvesters

Is it a big issues to fix???

ie how long till its done?

Noticed today that the cycle time for miners stays the same as unloaded when a charge is loaded

Also the % Yield is not showing on all of the miner info windows...

68

(35 replies, posted in Q & A)

now that i have had a chance to rummage though all those threads and grab the formula

I am still not getting the correct ingame result...

11/(1+0.05+0.06+0.00+0.02+0.20) = 8.27

then i remembered that when the Charge is loaded the cycle time stays the same, So

11/(1+0.05+0.06+0.00+0.00+0.20) = 8.40  BINGO!!!!!

So apparently there might be a bug with Intensive mining charge Extension cycle time not being used.

(35 replies, posted in Q & A)

After looking at my data again I used the wrong miner base cycle time, i use T1 (12secs), but had T3 fitted  (8.40) to my Term (now find that having a charge makes no difference to the cycle time)....

so its:
Adv Robotics                            20%
Basic intensive mining               5%
Advanced intensive mining        6%
Expert intensive mining             0
Intensive HDT exploitation        2%

Total                                       33%

Ingame Miner Cycle time            11.0

Ingame Fitted Cycle Time           8.40sec

Hung. Math.
11*(1-0.02)*(1-0.05)*(1-0.06*(1-0.02) = 7.7012

Still not right

just woke up, Thanks for the info...

Oh my, what a weird way to do it, i have a degree in maths and never would of done it that way, i suppose that's coders for you...
Although i have a feeling why they do it that way.  i'll let you know if my theory is right...

I am TRYING to calculate the cycle time of industrial modules which i am adding to an excel fitting sheet, but for the life of me cant get the formula to match the ingame calculation.

Here is the info i am using..

Adv Robotics                             20%
Basic intensive mining               5%
Advanced intensive mining        6%
Expert intensive mining             0
Intensive HDT exploitation        2%

Total                                         33%

Ingame Miner Cycle time            12.0

Ingame Fitted Cycle Time           8.40sec

Calculated Cycle                         8.04sec

How exactly are the percentages taken away from the module??
Am i doing my calculations wrong???
is there a special way the game does it calculations??

(18 replies, posted in General discussion)

also what is it a percentage of???

73

(18 replies, posted in General discussion)

what i don't get is who much ore does a 100% miner module mine?

and can u get over 100%?

Cant be done unless Black Flag allows posts an unprotected one...

i can host them, (i fortunately saved them), but wont be able to till Monday,
