Second you NEVER play.  You NEVER pvp.  I have no idea if you PVE besides shooting lights near a station.

Those links do provide a lot of data in what people use the most.

If you start looking into the actual kill you can see what modules were used.  For the most part.

OFC you probably already knew this.  The kill boards provide a lot of data you could use for balancing.

You don't like us to say X bot is useless.  But the true is with current mechanics there is no way a waspish will stop a baph or a arb from getting closer (speed) and destroying that shield.  Because tuning stacking?   But of course.  But also for plate no penalty (speed) stacking.  BTW wasp speed maybe the missile launchers are just to damn heavy ?

Maybe mass increase effect on mk2 was the problem ? (after the extra slot)

Some people are trying to defend the fact you cant be demob.  First time ever i seen in any game something that is 100 percent resistant to something 100 percent of the time.

The zenith MK1 has no range.  460m ? with out a nexus.  With nexus still terrible.  With range extender still terrible.  If you go with 460m range to a fight you are already dead.   Plus it really doesnt matter if you have 100 m or 1000m  the speed these fully plated bots can reach is unbeatable making the ewar useless.  No matter how many suppressors i got on you.  You just have to run to me get in range and 2 shot me.

Some people want stack tunings online but as you can see almost everybody of the player base that is left are not OK with this ptach

I have a green pilot account and is almost castel scout because I cant bring anything else and feel like I'm just a liability to the group.

I have less than 1k hp using a frame.  I do think my HP skills are max.

Without my shield I get 1 shotted by a mech or heavy.  2 shots maybe 1 by an assault.

Tbh looks kind of useless but ty.

It still difficult to keep light ewars cap stable.  I did notice you guys nerfed demobs once more.  At least for small bots

This coming from the guys that support a guy who actively seeks to break the game in every way he can and exploit it at all costs? Ask peanut how many times he's broke the game, and devs had to hack out a broken patch just to stop him. Not that I'm defending it if it's true, but the outrage you guys are displaying is quite hypocritical.

Assaults got a range bonus affecting any module.  Ewar zenith mk1 u guys took that away.  Range is king when u doing ewar.  For yellow at least.  I think u guys meant range only for weapons but we got for every module in game.

Dear Zoom:

     We have check the new balances and we found a few issues you might wanna take a look at:

Demobs:  Demobs got a nerf in 2 occasions in less than a couple of months. 

Reasons?

     1:  Speed increase:  All bots got speed increase, however, demobs stayed the same making it a necessity to equip 2 modules instead of 1.  We understand there were things like I win fit so we tried to adapt.

     2: Demob Resist Bonus:  The idea was great when we just read about it.  But after testing.  There are bots that can be immune to the effect.  I do understand having some resist but making them demob proof its just a bit to much.  No bot or module should be able to 100% resistant to something.

Ewar:  We understand you received several complains about how strong (yet so fragile) EWAR bots.  The changes you did made them nearly useless.  An assault platform has a better EWAR capability range wise vs a Zenith MK1.   No reason to run a zenith when you can run an assault with similar ewar but superior in range and damage bonuses for weapons.  Vagabond is  similar thing i am not a blue pilot


This game used to be rock/paper/scissor and it was great.  Now you just pile all together making racial bonuses near useless.  A extension that got heavy nerf in a way was Electronic Warfare Specialist.  Only reason to invest EP is to get the ability to pilot a MK2.  That's it.  Masking bonus on a mech?  Trust me wont do much difference to justify the EP usage. 

I respectfully request from you to please look at this notes and I would like to know the reasoning behind it.

So we all in agreement this balance thing was a terrible idea?   Bots immnune to demob.  How many bots are worthless now?  Zenith mk1 it is just a commodity for the mk2.  The mk2 is alright only if max skills.  It is autocannon online or 2 plate run like hell online.  Does anybody still run an intak?

What about green bots?  Castel and icuts maybe OK but the wasp?  Tyr?  Plate tyr ? Haha

With epi only in beta makes it easier to find mining ops.  Gamma cannot be wall like before and u can't just poop a terminal where ever you please. 

I imagine leaving epi on gma will benefit a lot of us but specially new corps trying to build assets.  Who cares about vets we already have enough to play around and not having to worry about getting blown up.

Hmm emailing everybody every time we get a Dev blog sounds like a good idea.  Old players will see progress and might come back.  How much mass email could cost

I know people don't like that the game unintentionally copies EVE mechanics but we really need to look at their ownership mechanics (which aren't perfect by a long shot). There should be 3 locations around a base (Saps) all should be destro with 3-5 x the current hp and more resists than current. Of course 5 is more than 3 but the Sap will stay contested until only Corp A or B is the only corp in the Passive area for 2-3 hours. Timer pauses when other corp enters control area.

Once control is established the 3 Destro control points go live and process can be repeated.
Destro points should have a passive repair mechanic.
Destro points should produce a Gamma style alarm.

Now comes the problem of Sap loot. and old saps
Only agents from the owning corp gets access to a set of extra daily missions. Only the CEO gets a mission that would be difficult to complete alone but one that would drop up to a current full active hack drop. Other missions would include harvesting noralgis for PLs and mining epi for PLs, Combat missions with PVP ammo rewards.

Maybe Ville can put in some ideas on productions since I'm just a go getter when it comes to production.

Edit. Only 2 Beta stations can be held by one corp.


You know how many times you guys have thrown it in everyone's face that if you can't defend it you don't deserve it? Now you're saying that 1 guys shouldn't be able to take a sap in someone's "off time?" Give me a *** break. I'm gonna do it.... Yep, here it comes!!!!

If you can't even muster enough to defend against ONE *** ASSAULT, then maybe you don't deserve to hold that station.

Even if it's you guys attacking someone else's sap the exact same thing could be said. Again, the problem isn't with the mechanics, it's with the players, both the lack there-of and the blindly allying up because they're (to use sindics term) risk-adverse.


Dude go take a walk or something nobody saying anything about loosing stations.  You believe everything ppl post is some sort of attack against you or secret agenda.  WE DO NOT WANT POWER PROJECTIONS.  Global domination is fun but it not healthy for the game.  No we are not disbanding and no you can't have it w/o a fight

I do agree with some points but mainly I do believe low population is our main issue. 

Should 1 man hold territory.  The answer is no but if this happens then we do have serious problems.

Cooldowns are terrible.  I prefer fewer sparks than 1 hr CD.   Just imagine if you forgot something and can't go back lol

It should be Faction Base if you really wanna stop the current problem

1) 1 spark in alpha, beta, and gamma.  Faction base you can only choose 1 path.  This should stop having all alpha 2 because from alpha 2 is very simple to reach a beta

2) Each spark will only unlock if you have certain relation.  Relation 2 for first spark Relation 4 for second spark and 6 for third spark

3) In order to unlock all 3 sparks you have to level your relation with that faction. 

4) You can only have one path at the time.  IF you already level all factions to 6 you can only choose 3 sparks same faction no mixing.

5) Spark extension to be remove and EP refunded.  No more point base spark system just 3 ports and done

I don't see anything fixing this problem 100%.  I have 4 accounts combat capable so if sparks get nerf i can still park an agent in different places.  Many of us have more than just 4 accounts regardless of your political stand.

By using relations at least will make ppl 1) use mission system 2) got something to do

Of course because my corp tag nothing mentioned above works for the game
