By that logic, Pig, the Corp that successfully organises and implements such an operation would deserve to hold it IMO.

Alexadar doesn't that just miss the entire point? What you're proposing would incite more blob warfare. This new system is about who's Corp is actively on beta, not who's Corp can have a few hours to prepare and bring the blob.

Bahaha, I can see this being totally true too. It's gotta be the accent, its just untrustworthy.

Yeah grem would definitely be on my list, and anyone who he deems trustworthy. And not cause we share the same Corp, rather his history in the game and the effort he goes through to propel it's reputation.

Yeah the coin system seems like a nice idea to begin with, but Alexadar picked it apart pretty easily. Sounds too much like a homogenizing feature that popular theme park mmos tend to employ.

I don't think people read the op too well. Posting a reply saying you don't want pay to win and only want cosmetic MT is completely irrelevant. As for what the OP actually asked, I don't really mind, I won't be using MT on the account of being a poor bastard, but if it streamlines the process, it would be good for the customer and the retailer one would think.

Yes server is being restarted.

GargajCNS:    for the hilarious reason of the server literally running out of gigabytes of ram

I know the NPCs that got you today as I was mining in their roam path as well. Im guessing you got double demobbed and it was GG? The only advice I can give is to mine in a group, so that if you do miss the warning on your radar (as I do ALOT big_smile ) your friend can PM you a warning.

As much as Id rather just sit there and mine risk free for countless hours, I much prefer this system that means there is somewhat risk to afk mining.

Ive done about 20 hours of mining on Tell, and Ive only come across the NPC roamers today, so I dont think you're doomed per se, I just think that if you see them, GTFO and mine somewhere else.

It was an exploit? When did that ever get said?

It's not as clear cut as a monthly plan, but the dev blog keeps me interested as I see some of the new stuff coming. Giving exact plans never works, and it just creates tension.

Help in this thread so they can get to the problem:

http://forums.perpetuum-online.com/topi … ince-0122/

Also for Aussies out there there is this thread:

http://forums.perpetuum-online.com/topi … m-hungary/

Now I initially tried it when the thread came out, but wasnt very impressed - didnt see noticeable changes. However since the recent issues, I switched it back on, and honestly, I havnt had one problem with lag. Been moving about fine, no rubber banding.

Although, I dont use this VPN for anything other than perp, I dont like the fact that the people who run it know what Im looking at on the interwebz.

Give it a go, would be good to see if it works for other East coast Aussies. Also if you are west coast can you let me know the results, also Kiwis too.

I admit I dont know much about this sort of stuff, but wouldn't my pingplotter results show that there is an issue with the traffic on the way to the server? Keep in mind, I have run ping plotter maybe 3-4 weeks ago, and not seen any sort of packet loss (minimal at best). Therefore it could be a transatlantic node going haywire - like I said - I dont know much about it, I'm just trying to apply logic.

Check this thread out:

http://forums.perpetuum-online.com/topi … ince-0122/

It's only a Termis though, but I get it, that it's principle. I can barely play the game right now, with constant rubberbnding from packet loss.

Confirming this has only happened recently. I am from Sydney Australia (ISP = Telstra). I have used pingplotter before, and not seen packet loss like this prior to the last few days.

Logged in just then and it was weird. Running normal ping (350), except every 3-4 seconds i would spring to 600 and rubber band me, making traveling really hard to do. No issue at my end - something has changed on the server's end I take it?

If you want something good to read while waiting, grab Gardens of the Moon by Stephen Erikson and start an addiction with the Malazans.

The dialogue between Tehol Beddict and Bugg is at the top of my list. So funny.

But you consider wheel of time a younger-type genre, compared to Goodkind's Sword of truth?

Although I did begin reading the WoT books at 13-14, and started reading the Goodkind books around 20 (Im now stuck on Chainfire - Ive read 2-3 other books since starting chainfire). Goodkind doesnt seem to be a very good author imo, quite dissapointing for me. It's simplistic and the characters only tend to show shades of grey towards the latter end of the series (if barely).

Community is pretty funny. Up to date with the latest chuck eps and it seems ok but the earlier seasons were bbetter IMO. Castle is ok I guess but I watch it more because I enjoy Nathan fillions charm (guess I still hold onto the firefly days).

Series to look forward to in the next few months or so is the George R R Martin hbo adaptation which should be a real good watch. "a game of thrones" .Not comedy, but I think it's worth a mention.

You think your corp sucks? Try paying 80% tax. lol

Aw I missed it sad

Henkst, were you guys able to build a neutral trade-hub? (you were fisheye werent you?) - At Ely's (I think it was them) keep spot that TOP took down.

ps, those sieges were the best times - actual pvp.
