So, now if I am neutral they're going to shoot me and with the change they're going to shoot me...

At the moment, if someone rolls up to your outpost with a Lithus, they could be carrying a belly load of bots and refits to stash at the outpost.

Once you can set relations, you can allow known traders such as myself, to dock knowing that even if I do have war material (which I may be delivering for that outpost to use), that the enemy couldn't dock there and buy that item to refit with.

If an area isn't stable, then it's less likely to have steady trasnport traffic anyway.

But there's a difference between roaming up to an outpost with pew pew and rolling up in haulers or miners. If your there to exploit the area, farming or mining, and the area is stable, then you know that they are controlling the area and you should get permission at minimum and probably pay. Since the owners now get income, you'll actually want to encourage players to come mine and refine as a source of income, not all corps of course, but the ones that encourage it will be richer for it.

Agree to use their facilities, as that will bring profit, and will be an incentive for the owning corp to keep stability high, ensuring maximum benefit and reassuring that you are safe in operating there.

WTF! SO I STOCKED UP ON 5 YEARS OF SUBS ON ALL MY ACCOUNTS FOR NOTHING?!?!?!

How will docking rights be handled?  If its allowed with ANY stability at all, then you get the ability to lock people out without hardly any effort because because you want to kick random vagrants out of some unused outpost.  Just take 1 sap on a lucky draw with passive hacking and lol bye bye everyone else.

Will you need to pay at least 100m NIC to take control of the outpost (at 50% stability), then you control docking until it reaches 0%?  That sounds like the most reasonable way to handle it.

I really dont get the people who complain about the "um" stuff, I never noticed it even when Grem was supposedly really really doing it a lot.

It's a public speaking no-no, so people who have been forced to go through public speaking courses, their brain autofocuses on it hmm

Sounds like their problem, not ours.

Its not that PST has less people playing, but it falls after EST time zone and while the European people are still asleep/working.  Its just kinda how that goes with a global player base.

I assume these names are very similar to NPC names, but are changed by using a capital I in place of the L's in "Patroller" or "Pelistal".  You could have a name thats "PeIistal Patroller" "Pelistal PatrolIer" and "Pelistal PatroIler" and every permutation of those to confuse players.

I think they should be forced to change their names, as their font is confusing and it can be misleading.

Note: server population does not correlate directly to number of subscribers.  The server population has pretty much doubled if not more from before the 'event'.  I think we got much more than 500 new subs out of it.

It could just be '2 random bots'.. That would be kinda cool..

No it wouldnt.  Combining the faction terminal with the related bots makes sense, and looks better than just random *** thrown together by an RNG.  But, having multiple bot combos of the SAME FACTION would be cool, and even going as far as different builds on them for flavor.

In the end, its way too time consuming to worry about at this stage, especially on something you are looking at for less than 30 seconds unless you're running a login trap or something.

Go ahead and try to manipulate market averages, but be prepared to pay the taxes on those sales, even at 2% it can get pretty hefty if you want to make any significant changes.

I was one that wanted to be able to buy/sell to any order.  I personally dont like 0.01 NIC bids, and will sell to the square number over getting 0.01NIC more per item.  I know its competition, but at least make it a few NIC more, or a few thousand for larger items.

And since we have the tier info on the icon, you dont really need the full item name to see what tier it is, which is nice but the name plate still takes up way too much space.

For even more space saving, I'd like to see smaller icons that dont show any name on them unless hovered over, a list view like that in the repair menu, and a detail view that gives extra info with an icon only as large as a line of text.

Detail view:  Item name, quantity, item tier, total weight, individual weight, damaged %... customizable to include reactor/cpu amounts and things like that as well maybe.

Can we get the killmails to show fittings as well, please?
Would be very helpful for new players, like me.

Again, I stand by my position:  if you want to see what the enemy is fitting, use a chassis scanner.  After a while you wont need them because of the numerous cues that tell you what they have fitted: speed, armor, range, ewar, energy weps, shield, ammo effect, repair speed/amount.

I think those that have been around since early release or soon thereaftet should get something for their loyalty.  Maybe some EP would be nice.

But that would mean the window could not be resized or moved, in which case I definitly do not want it

Do you know what OPTION means?  You wouldn't have to use it.  You also completely miss the reason for this.  You have the flexibility of windowed mode (using other windows while still having the game open) without the space reduction of it (title bar, task bar).

I really want this feature. Running multiple clients on multiple monitors would be sweet with borderless windowed mode.

Medium Crypto - +20% optimal range, 44 thermal damage.
Medium HEAT-IX Ballistic Missile(long range!) - +45m range, 70 siesmic damage.

So, at which point does 28 damage equal to ~95% optimal range difference being balanced? ^^

Maybe the damage multiplier on EM or even on gauss guns ? ^^
You can do 400-600% damage with em guns.
With missiles max 200%, with lasers i dunno, but i dont think its bigger than max 300%!
(and still count ROF!!! missiles 5 sec!!!)

So thats why!

The different guns dont matter.  You're still multiplying each ammo type by the same amount.  Try again.

lol I can get 200% damage in my Tyrannos with *** gear and still have a long way to go on damage boost extensions.  Try again.

I see no problem with it. If you cant handle it, go somewhere else.  Use 2 sensor amps so even if you do get jammed you can re-lock fast.

I see no problem with how it currently is.  The superior Kain observer on Tellesis is an ECM nightmare, but I take that as a challenge than anything.

He's not talking about normal NPCs, but observers.  Observers will engage at over 500m and will typically shoot for much over 500m as well.  Even going 70kph with a thermal resist on my tyrannos, the Seth observer still got be down to like 30% before I was out of his optimal range.  They do pack a punch, even at like 600-700m away.  Normal NPCs are stupid easy to avoid, even the ewars, but observers can get you if you're not paying attention, which I'm perfectly fine with.
