1. Learn skills for:

  • Refinery
    Effective resourses usage
    Amounts of items produced per cycle (with every cycle CT becomes worse)

2. Use lvl 2 production.
Go find the outposts with lvl2 factories or go to the new islands, they have all lvl2 production facilities. It will cost you less on money and time.

PS Prototyping is needed for creating CTs for Tier 2-4 items. For T1 its just waste of materials.

Assaults are small. They are evasive against medium weapons. They can use terrain more effective. 1 mech < 2 assaults with med weapons. If one gets damaged the second one will finish the job. Assaults with medium weapons will work as mech busters. And assaults are way easily to spec, which will give chance to new players even in intrusions as fire support.

Its better to be them like this than useless like now.

So the main idea is to make assaults be able to use medium weapons and have bonuses for that. Well, that's a great idea for sure, I have nothing against it. Especially now when devs buffed locking range and accumulator.

Devs... your move.

How about shield generator? Small shield generators arent fitting assault bots, only lights. But for what goddamn reason light bots need shields?!

This topic was brought before in other threads. I think its beter to make a dedicadet topic for this.

So people thinks that assaults are mostly useless now. So I want to hear ideas how would you like to change assaults, especially in PvP aspect.

In my opinion they need special long range weapons or robot range bonus.

Well, actually not all things. I find new beta islands quite boring and empty. And event, ya know, I thought there would be hundreds of protectors swarming the island... but I found only couple of spawns and very low quantity of other NPCs.

I wont be amused if I will see kamikaze squads from you Mara. roll

Ore will get cheaper, but dont forget that you're mining faster, so you will have the same income with the same spent time.

AoE bot explosion damage is devastating! Exploding chameleon does 300-400 dmg.

So, who wants to hug a mech with low HP?

When you joining corporation from Freelancers for others you are still at Freelancers crop and corporation standings doesnt work. Relogin fixing this.

I remember that stuff in PlanetSide with BFR's. When your shields are going down and you starting to get damage with armor, everything falls apart, speed drops, accuracy and rate of fire falls and you become a punch bag.

If you want more roaming NPC I have another idea for it.
Keep NPC spawns static as before, but if that spawn aint being attacked for a while, half of them or the entire spawn starts to roam and new NPC are spawning to replace them. But roaming groups wont walk around till complete destruction, they will despawn after 30-60 minutes. But if those NPCs facing NPCs of the other faction they start to fight each other.

You will have roaming NPCs, but not flooded island and static spawns to dedicated kernel or mission farm.

Mining ships in EvE have ability to protect themselves using dones. Miners in PO have only 1 weapon slot that isnt equal in firepower as drones. Multiple miners in EvE have drones swarm, multiple miners in PO have firepower of 1 noob light bot.

Non-static NPC roams will kill mining in this game.

Do you even imagine the entire island flooded with NPC roamers? You cant travel safely anymore, you cant mine without a big party of combat bots. Do not want.

Hm, dont forget about capitalist piggies. As I know there is corps that have inner market system, they dont give equipment for free, all players have to gain NIC. Such players will gladly sell high lvl kernels to other players.

I think there is nothing wrong with 50% drop rate. Why? Because this reactor plasma is way more profitable than selling kernels to NPC, that will be more motivational for hunting, more players will hunt, so kernel flow will be the same, but kernels wont go nowhere like before.

Yes, for now prices for kernels gonna be sky-high and there wont be high grade kernels. But that's just a matter of time because kernel flow will be the same. As drawback prices for bots and stuff will raise, but not that high as it was during the first couple of months since release, so we will handle it.

Tank fitted mechs aint meant to chase anything, yes, they are slow. But that what light bots should do. No?

Lets imagine that nerf had happened and mech max speed is 70+ with t4 lwf and speed nexus. There still be glass cannons but not as many as now. Such mechs will be reachable for lights and ewars to catch. More players will use tank fit to fight, to be able to persist lights and kill them. Also tank fittet combats are more fun and spectacular than your "Oh damn, there is too many of them! Run away!". For example I fought with Mara on her tanked Artemis, so I know what Im talking about. Such mechs eye-to-eye clashings are fun, that's what was shown in the game trailer. Thats why I did buy this game. But I dont get it. Im not satisfied and it pissing me off. Why? Because of hole in the balance.
