Technically that's multiple players.

Multiple characters, toons, AV's, etc. but not separate players, there is one player behind the two three, or how many ever clients are logged in tongue

Please add this very simple fix: close the cargo of a bot you have deactivated and open the cargo of the bot activated.

There have been so many times when I load a package, miner charges, or ammo into the bot I just deactivated and head out with my new bot only to find my cargo empty. You could even make it a toggle-able option if some people like it the way it is. I know I would really appreciate this fix since it is extraordinarily frustrating to realize that you didn't just forget to pack something, you packed it into the bot still sitting in the station. Thanks.

LOL, this would be very handy, i have done the same many times, even just shutting the cargo window when switching would work, then we can open the one we want after that.

this fellow must have money to burn.  I'll never play a game that takes money beyond a monthly charge to succeed.  Good god..that's not even a game anymore..it's a disposable income contest.

That is what is happening in a lot of games with in game stores, such as LOTRO, DDO, and others, sadly.

When roaming as a gang you may find no one... you may find one or two juicy targets or you may find a large opfor.

Who is stEVE???

For reals? You mean the game EvE?

This is exactly why i am a carebear in both games, i like helping out people, but have no interest in no skill blob gankfests, it is more about getting a bigger gang than the other side then any amount of tactics.

Hi,

I have a mission spot where a farmer is killing all targets faster than i can lock one. I wonder if a solution is planned about it, because if all i can do is tansport missions, i won't stay longer.

This is a common issue, there are....or were....several threads around on it, but cannot find any atm, most of the advice you will get will be to spend points on lock time and get a sensor amp.

The problem exists because you can make more money in less time/risk on the tier 1 missions than doing anything with the tier 2 missions. Thus many people with more points/better mechs will go farm the tier 1 areas, forcing newbs to sit and watch in frustration as a pile of containers get dropped everywhere.

This to me seems a serious issue, in other areas of the game (anything after newb mission running areas) i would say tough deal with it, do the above, but these areas should be just for newbs that barely have learned to target, let alone fight well. It seems to me that the sure way to kill a game is to frustrate or bore the newbs into wanting to do something else.

I tend to get a bit of easy money farming these areas as well on my combat toon, but i either back off if there a few newbs there, or at least take turns. Earlier today there was one unnamed mech that tried to lock out an area in a bigger mech.......i locked it down so that he left frustrated instead of the two newbs.....(with a message that i was being reported for griefing, lol). There are others that do the same to help out a bit, or at least give the newbs a chance, but many will just ignore you or even start insulting you just for asking for a few to kill.

Next people will want scanners so they can find out where everyone is on the island?
Actually a counter somewhere that shows how many are on the island would be handy for a lot of things, but at the same time everyone would know the instant people came on the isle......just watch the numbers, "oh, 10 people just came on isle, no 15"......This would give a lot of info for defenders on anything in the PvP areas without having to have scouts out. Perhaps if it was delayed, or not 100% accurate, or just have a bracket type system showing approximate numbers would be good. It would give people the knowledge of whether it is worth even going out without broadcasting the moment a group came onto the isle.

what is "corp buissness" for you?

as ceo or financial officer, or production manager,
you can use the corp wallet for almost everything but repairing.
you can even insure on corp wallet instead your own.

can you give more detailes please, as this sounds intresting....

I am confused as well, anyone that has access to corp funds has ways to deal with each separately......

Hi,

It would be nice to be able to change the transparency of the UI windows, so one can look at, say, the relations window while travelling. Even with autorun on, I keep bumping into structures, plants, and un-travellable regions if I have any windows open, since I can't see where I am going.

Thanks!

This would be nice and handy at some point, not sure how easy it would be to program in though. Would be cool to have the map or radar very transparent, then could make it larger, or even move it to the lower or center part of the UI.

Amen! I am so used to doing that in other MMO's that i keep forgetting......or at least make the "N" indicator stand out so you do not have to look for it.

Agree totally, show a big red bar on it if damaged or something, to keep lazy people from getting ripped off i guess.

BizzyBeast wrote:

I dont get how an inactive 'spy' would snatch anything more then ammo and to be recycled ***.

In a game like this I would expect to play with a corp for years and never get access to important corp storage.

I heard somebody jacked a corp already and I can only assume it was from a rank 1 storage, which is usually junk meant to be taken by anyone.

As for information I always have had spies in previous guilds and I would work them to death. Good guilds give quotas for their members to hit, like ores or kernals. This way a spy would weed himself out by refusing to help a corp he is trying to harm. Works like a charm.

A good spy is there for the bigger picture, one type will do whatever is needed within the corp until they have the opportunity to strike, if the spy (and the group they are working for) is really good, no one even suspects they are one until the hangar is empty, the defences are coming down and they are already across the lines.
Another type will leak out info for months or years, if they and the group they really work for are good, then it is a balance of taking the most advantage with the least risk of being exposed. The best spies are almost always "model members" of the society they are spying on.

I like most of these, number 4 though seems ok to me the way it is, and i am a Asintec laser guy on both toons.
Each weapon has advantages and drawbacks....

Guns have the least overall (untrained) DPS, but the ammo is the cheapest, and they take the least amount of accumulator, lasers have a lot more DPS, fast recycle time, but use the most accumulator.
Those are the main two i use, i am sure others know the drawbacks and advantages of the other weapon types better than i.

NOTE: this is aside from the LOS problems which is a bug

This will be fixed in tomorrow's patch.

Wohoo!

Again, people comment when they have not read the thread, if you read what people are saying it makes you look like you might have a grain of intelligence.
I agree with most of the arguments used here anywhere/anytime except in the very areas where brand-new-just-finished-tutorial newbs are running. If people have this problem in the outer terminals, T2 quests etc. yep, then putting points into lock, getting better mechs/gear, or telling them to suck it up is totally correct but......
The problem is that the newb areas are being farmed by people that have been in game for quite some time, with better mechs and more points. This is because it is far cheaper to farm the T1 spawns while making more money than doing anything with T2 spawns.
It does not take much for a newb that is locked out of these areas by far superior mechs with a ton of EP spent on lock times to decide that this game is not for them......
No newbs, no new money, no new people to recruit, no new people to shoot, game stagnates then dies as the old-timers sit around on their beta islands pretending they had nothing to do with the game dying miserably.

I think it would be better for the players to acess his own stuff in the private storage from any therminal.

How can i get one from the corp? where can i find the mission that rewarded a robot?

Yes, like in many games now or in real life, your stuff does not magically teleport from station to station.

The tutorial missions are the only ones that give mechs as rewards, other than that your Corp (other players) may give/sell you one, or you would have to get one from the market.

There are a few threads about this, as you already know since you have been posting in them.
For what it is worth i agree, and have been saying this was a problem since early on.

There are several other threads running around about this already.....

In my opinion they just need to increase the icon size of the N S E W on the radar, currently they are a little small to quickly tell which direction you are headed.

Yes, most other games allow you to lock the radar so north is always north and you are shown by an arrow in the center, but making the indicators larger (or just coloring the N) would work also.

Why? Paying attention would fix it, and how would it know what is "abnormal", markets change a lot.
Not sure where the stEvE thing came from, never seen it in my years of playing it, but yes, it does get annoying.

This is one reason the Lev 1 quest areas are swarmed with higher level mechs a lot of the time, it is a lot more profitable to hang out in the level 1 areas......

Wow, like step away from the computer man.......now, before you hurt yourself........while out there get a life or at least find something less stressful......like knitting.

Seriously, if true that is pretty messed up, anything taken out into PvP is fair game, massive lag or no, if they can't afford to lose it, they shouldn't be piloting it.
Even if it is true though it is not worth that much stress, whining, and crying, get the heck over it.
