Nice job.

one formatting comment.  I dont think you need to show the NIC costs out to 2 decimal places.  it shows some of the NIC totals to 2 decimal points and some with none.

ex: Triandlus: 1,929,600,.00 NIC

Sounds like you have the right set up now and a lot of good advise.  Once you figure it out, you will find you have more ore then time to get it all.
Using the missions to find Ore is a good method as previously stated, but be careful, with all the new players doing this trick, those areas get depleted quickly. (do lvl 2 missions at the outposts to overcome this issue).
Moving away from a termial is another good trick, but then you have to tranport all you new materials back to the terminal (this is the best method if you plan to drop a can and power mine lots of ore, then come back with your sequers)
Look on the less populated Islands is another way to go.  Try one of the new Alpha islands.  Less competetion for the good fields, but be careful with reward comes risk; new alpha islands have harder NPCs and more roaming groups (do not AFK mine)

Good luck and good mining; its the miners that keep the PvP pilots in ships (who then come and kill us while we mine..hmm)

You can also use the perpetuum planner program.  It is currently out of date, buy someone is working a new version

Speaking for myself - maybe; RL > Perp, and RL has been keeping me busy enough recently that I've hardly had any time to actually play, recent server issues aside.  But I would like to see word of Perp get out more, so if I can I will.

This is an awsome Wiki, but maybe you would get more support from the rest of the population if you moved this from being a FOOM owned wiki to a true open wiki (plus it would help to get the word out there on PO).

there is a link on the MMORP Wiki that goes to a dead site, so its not helping to get the word out to other potential players

Shouldn't you rehost this wiki on wikipedia or wikia

either way, cookies for what you have done so far

The dev of that app put the source open on a site.  His instructions were very cryptic, but I was able to DL all the different parts and get it to mostly compile, but was stuck with some compile issues I cold not resolve.
He provided a free dev env to work out of.  Originally written in VC++, so he said.  If anyone can make more progress then I did, please do.  I am more then willing to help.

Everyone agrees this is a great tool and if the community can find a way to resurrect it, it would help us all out.
