So I'm bored sitting on Alpha 2 doing the same missions over....and over.  I've been in pretty much 1 other corp for the last month.  It closed then re-opened its previous corp...I really don't know what the CEO did. He moved his *** from one to the other I think.  Now, literally nobody logs on.  So, I'd like to experience PVP on beta, and missions.  I'm nearly up to lvl 6 combat missions with Asintec. I really don't want to go to a blue or green island and have to start over. So i'm looking for a yellow corp.

Like I said, I'd like to eventually experience beta and gamma but don't want to just roam around by myself.  I pretty much just farm for money every time I log on and its getting mind numbing at this point. I can drive heavy mech's pretty well and mk2 mech's.

I have 325k ep at the time of this writing.

I'm finding its a bit simpler to target what I need using the targeting computer instead of the landmark screen.  I use the landmark screen to filter what I need to shoot first, i.e. eWar etc.  If the debuffs the npc's place on me were on the targeting computer it would simplify and speed up the process of targeting what i need to kill first.

If this option is somewhere in the menu's then I'm sorry for wasting your time.

Well now. Toxic community is definitely an understatement.

This request shouldn't be too difficult.  I want the ability to bind actions to the mouse buttons on a standard 5 button mouse.  Things like activate all weapons and loot all gear comes to mind.  This would literally make the game playable with just the mouse and when I'm being lazy and playing Perp whilst watching Youtube, I'd like to just use the mouse.

why the effort?

just start a kickstarter campaign for a game, write everything down you want to have in it, and search for coders to do it. The only point about "buying" this game is to buy the 3D assets.

since the grafics would need an upgrade anyway, even that would be pointless to aquire.

the backgroundstory of the game was pretty much mainstream scifi and is not ingame,
so making up a new one is a matter of a short brainstorming session and a few hours typing.

buying the name of the game? its still pretty unknown, so not much of a point either.

That's a good point. Althought now in my early 30's, I find these time based MMO's the way to play when I don't have much time.  I can log in once every few days and don't have to worry about not making max level in 3 days after release.

The only issue with this and Eve is yes, the niche market.  Not alot of funding and the game is difficult to grasp initially.  New gamers today, those in their early 20's or even younger, want everything handed to them and can't even make it past the tutorial without refunding it on steam....which is bloody pathetic!  Not even an iota of effort was put in on their part.

Is it even worth it for combat missioning.  I have just a generic T1 equipped on my seth and it only seems to work against light and assault bots.  It does work sometimes. I wen't to the ECCM because lvl 4 missions were getting pretty ridiculous with the ECM interference.

I'm in a Seth. I may just go back to a Artemis M2 for the extra speed and higher anti jamming chance.  I don't relish using missiles though. My skills are low in missiles and there are so many of them to level up to maximize damage.

A kickstarter to buy the game is an interesting idea.  But from what I've seen on these forums, getting along would be the hard part.  Who would own the server etc...

I think instead of Omega Islands, you should make the current islands larger.  What I've noticed now, after taking a few years off, is that players dont even want to go to beta because they get ganked literally 10 seconds after warping in.  If the game went f2p that would help alleviate that issue of one or two PVP corps dominating an island.  To go f2p, you need more land mass.  Of course Eve has this problem beat due to space being well.....space.
