I'm talking to Zoom not you, when I have something to tell you there will be a representative to give you my regards and give you a notice to pack your sh*t.

Thank you for giving me a reason to pick a side.

I've been the first to talk sh*t about Zoom when the Devs were doing bad things, now I'll be the first to say they're doing good work lately.

The fact Zoom didn't spoon-feed you a generic c/p reply but actually showed his underlying frustration (which the newbie mislabeled as ambivalence), gives him all the more credit.

Zoom the important thing right now is to keep doing the small things bit by bit. You know better then us how many times the Dev team went into a 3-6-X month development cycle with no communication whatsoever, don't take us back to those days. A patch every few weeks, a few features and tweaks... I'd rather take 6 months worth of those small patches and improvements, then 1 big patch with a new broken unbalanced mechanic.

Nothing happens overnight.

Offtopic much?

I never once said the Dev's weren't doing their job or anything about content patches. He was being ambivalent with regards to the topic being discussed here, "Player Population", nothing else. The rest of this all sound like your concerns, don't bring me into your BS.

This game is ROCK, we certainly need people, my problem there is not much of a room for casual players, who play the most, so what I still miss more casual contents (PVE) as the mission rwamp was.

10 000 / player casuals />  1 000 player / semi-hardcores /> 100 player / hardcores /

Well, I see quite a bit of this games "Content" as player created. Which means that we as Corporations should be creating content, events, duties, that give people from the Casual to Hardcore level, something to do to benefit themselves and the Corporations they belong to no matter how much time they have to actually commit to the game.

It is possible.

What I meant is, can we help with advertising? Seriously, I personally didn't even know about this game, had never heard of it at all. I guarantee 90% of the people who might be interested in this game, don't even know it's here. I was brought in by my friend Vaylen, then I brought two others into the game and have every intention of working towards bringing more and more new folks in as much as possible.

I have Recruitment posts for my Corp up on Raptr, Steam, Facebook and here. Yet, no one seems interested because they have no idea what the game is about and with the game being out for so long, and the extension point system being what it is, people may be unwilling to start a game where they will be at a disadvantage because others have been playing longer. How do you fix this? Can you fix this? I'm sure you guys have discussed this before.

Anyway, share ideas, how are we going to bring more people into this community?

How would that help?

So, you don't think there is a problem with players perceiving the game as "Dead", really? and You don't feel this is a reason for concern or being worried?, really?

You're telling me that I just purchased two accounts for $28.99 each, to play a "Dead" game and that I shouldn't worry about it?

I'd imagine that your Development team should be frantic, attempting to think of ways to dissuade your current and future community members that you are doing everything you can to bring new people into the game. Perception is key bud, if people think this game is "DEAD", it will be.

"How would that help?" Really?

You don't get it. We're doing our best to develop the game. How would worrying and panicking on top of that help?  You don't think that it pains me to see less and less players whatever we do? You don't think that if we had any real publisher, it would have shut us down a long time ago? You don't think that most developers would have already said "f* this" and get a job that pays at least triple? Yet we're still here.

That's what I meant. Rant over.

This is the kind of response you should have given the first time. Now my question to you is, "What can we as members of this community do to help?" Have you guys brainstormed ideas with your current community to help bring more players here?

This thread isn't to shock the Devs Baer, in fact it's to poke the community of players on this forums and go "Hey, the game needs YOUR help right now.  Stop QQing on the forums and login even if its to idly sit in general chat to bump the population OR better yet play."

Don't get me wrong Ville, I totally agree, the community members here are also responsible for bringing in new players to assist in this. However, Zoom appeared ambivalent to the situation, which pissed me off a bit as a consumer. Even if he didn't mean it that way, I perceived him as non-caring about the games current situation.

Intention means nothing, perception is everything. As someone who is the main voice for the Dev's on this forum, he may want to show a little concern and perhaps attempt to dissuade the situation. Not just throw his arms up and say "What would that do?"

I mean, c'mon.....

Sadly, things aren't looking too good. As you guys point out here, there are very few people playing the game.

Not a good thing... This is a great game, with a lot of potential, but if no one plays it....

@Zoom How many people are playing the game man?

I had this same thing happen to me as well. I just thought I had loaded the wrong ammo at some point.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

As for these last two, give us at least 6 mos. It'll take that long to get some time in and learn our way around. By then, who knows what will happen....

We'll see.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and wish us luck Altera!

I'd really like to see the community here grow as well. I'm very surprised there aren't more people playing, this is fantastic game! Sooo much potential!

The Crimson Order (Industry-PvP-PvE)(18+)(Military Friendly)(NA)(Oceanic Encouraged)

The Crimson Order is a collection of adult game enthusiasts that has endured for over 10 years, through multiple games. We are influenced by our many active and prior service members, and as such, have created a very structured and cohesive guild that allows for maximum opportunity for members to advance through their own merits. "Guild Drama" is put down with extreme prejudice, as all of us are adults who do this in spite of our jobs, not as our jobs, as is the case in some other guilds. These reasons, along with a strict spiritual adherence to our core principles, have given CO lasting power that transcends pixels on the screen, and truly has become a collection of friends.

The Crimson Order focuses primarily on military operations (such as PvP and territorial control). While our focus is military operations we do pursue other content. We have traditionally had a strong supportive crafter base, and do go after high end PvE content. Despite being largely US members, there is a rising number of Oceanic players who are joining our ranks as well.

Why join the Crimson Order?

-Military friendly - Many of our leaders and members are active or prior military

-Proven history and staying power - The Crimson Order is not a fly by night guild and has continuously existed for more than ten years in various games while other guilds folded and closed up shop.

-Highly structured - we have a structured top-down military organization. When you join you won't just be in an amorphous blob of members who are left to their own devices.

-Awesome environment - When you join The Crimson Order you are joining a community of fellow gamers. Our members say they keep coming back to CO for our community and the friendships made within make it truly a family.

-18+ community - we only accept adult members.

-Anti-drama - We don't tolerate drama or power plays.

Our Core Values:

Our values define who we are, what we strive for, and where we go in the future. All members of the CO are expected to live, breathe, and act in accordance to these values.

Duty, Honor, Respect, Dignity, Courage, Innovation, Adaptability, Maturity, and Distinction.

Our Vision:

TCO's vision today builds upon our past strengths with a focus on providing the best possible experience for our members in the present and into the future. Our vision is to provide Member Focused Leadership, Strong Organization, Open Two Way Communication, Service to our Online Community, and a Fun and Supportive Environment. The Crimson Order will strive for excellence in all that it does, and will aim to become a premier military organization within the game.

Our history:

The concept of The Crimson Order began in 2003 when several individuals came together with a common vision and direction for a new organization in Star Wars Galaxies. The ideals of member focused leadership, a clear cut and strong military style structure, open flow of communication, and our core values.

These leaders formed The Crimson Order, which also became known as the 1st Battalion of the 209th Stormtrooper Regiment. The Crimson Order quickly grew to prominence on its server, leading several major military campaigns and bringing together one of the largest alliances seen in the game. The SWG branch of the CO closed up shop in 2011 with the final server shutdowns.

In 2010 The Crimson Order opened a branch in Star Wars The Old Republic. The CO again focused on community building and partnering with other guilds in game. The TOR branch of the CO also became known for it's activities in open world PvP.

Other branches of the CO have seen service in the Matrix Online (beta testing), World of Warcraft, Eve Online, Tabula Rasa (beta testing), Age of Conan, and Star Trek Online.

Our organization
Our focus is to have a fully functioning and independent army. We will cover all aspects of combat, command, training, information, crafting, supply, and dominance of the entire globe.

Promotions in TCO are earned through hard work, talent, and determination. Corruption and nepotism have no place in the CO.

Our leadership:

The leadership of the CO has over twenty two years of combined experience leading guilds and organizations for a large variety of games and in real life as well. Our command staff is focused on serving the needs of their members first, not expanding their personal power or fame.

At the top of the structure are the Grand Master and the Chapter Masters who provide the strategic level leadership, advice, and counsel for The Crimson Order's operations. The Chapter Masters are supported by Company Commands and Platoon leadership which provide more of the tactical leadership and driving the day-to-day affairs of the Order.

The Crimson Order places a lot of emphasis and responsibility on its lower level leadership. As these leaders are usually in the trenches tending to the needs of their troops, they play a vital role in building the Order. Therefore, we are constantly striving to find and to help develop and train new leaders.

How to join:

The Crimson Order is always keeping an eye out for new members and is currently open for new applicants. Please keep in mind that we do review all applications and may require a brief interview to make sure you will fit in with The Crimson Order. Also, new recruits are generally placed in a trial period as determined by the recruiting staff.

Additionally, any former member of The Crimson Order and friends and family of members can join via an expedited process.

If you feel that you have what it takes to be a member of The Crimson Order, head over to our new website at http://thecrimsonorder.com/ and fill out and sign up (be sure to use your main character's name on your application).

Please Remember:

-You must be at least 18 years or older.
-You must agree to abide by The Crimson Order rules and Regulations without exception or hesitance
-You will need to be willing to download and use TeamSpeak 3 to participate in any of The Crimson Order's PVP and PVE guild events after all we are a community.

We are currently centrally located in Tellesis and surrounding sectors. However, we have plans on pursuing relations with other established Beta & Gamma Corporations for future expansion.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Baer Mowser, The Crimson Order-Perpetuum-Chapter Leader.
