I wouldn't mind something like this, gives us a reason to go to Gamma again (Free mins to sneak out from under gamma base owners noses anyone?). Unless something worth while is placed on gamma, and no collixum is not really worth while due to its limited uses (epi was worth the risk of a scarab just sayin'), then gamma is going to remain less contested then beta.

This tower addition would be incentive enough to a group just because keeping up with its maintenance would take a dedicated person or a group effort. (For the swarm anyone? lol) I'm not normally one to say add an easy mode item, but this one has merit.

Alas +1, I've died due to this both in PvP (most recent a fight with beast mode) and PvE (Oh look more trees! Lets just freeze up here while you are taking damage while we load that pretty forest over there.).

Digsby, it's worth your time just to log on.  There's corps like NSE and well NSE.

This reminded me of one of our EvE Corps slogans : "We do what we can, because we must." No idea why but thought you'd get a kick from it.

Also though there isn't too terribly much going on there are new guys coming into the game and learning. So if you want in on helping to form the next gen players as well as set the stage a bit, then I suggest at the least log in once or twice a week and help teach! NSE likes to keep things unbiased and goal oriented so even if you're chillin' with people we shoot we have no problem learning from any venue that offers knowledge, so how you teach is up to you.

Hope this opinion helps your decision.

+1 We have used this since we discovered it not knowing it wasn't intended, with out epritom on gamma there is literally only 1 use for gamma for rookies and the like : artifacting. If you want MORE risk vs reward happening then leave it there! Either that OR MAKE COLLAXIUM MORE USEFUL! Seriously, keep epritom on gamma it's about the only lure there is atm.

OK So do it like this, implement the alliance style mechanics and have each alliance have their own automatically spawned sub forum that is only visible to them. No cross clutter from opposing sides, separated discussion zones for those who are in the same group, and oh when an alliance disbands have it auto destroy said forum for free clutter control! \0/ Win-Win-Win, solution found.

At the moment corporation wallets are a pain to deal with. 1 wallet for everything corp related. I'm going to do a no no here and compare to EvE Online, corp wallets in eve online were split allowing for each wallet to have different access levels (similar to storage levels) for more organization. By splitting the corporations wallet it would make synchronizing industrial building fees easier, allowing for easier cost tracking, corporations can have a rainy day fund, a fund for war coffers, etc. The organization capabilities from this change are endless and dead useful, so I say do a little reworking here (and possibly look at reworking the corp roles mechanics while you're at it) and let a corporation actually resemble a corporation rather than a lemonade stand!

Jita, you have been nice and all so not much to say other then "WHAT?". I mean I know a lot of uni students that can't afford another bill IE a booster for a game, they are constructive participants of their respective communities that they join. Many are even Computer Science and Visual Communications majors who have more technical experience than many of the gamers that play the games, giving additional insights that may not have come up from a small dev teams SCRUM meetings, this alone would stifle that.

Now I can see forum Gags for trolls and the like, but an all out pay to post set up? No. I have to agree with Zooms comment here.

As it stands now, this game has corporations come and go. That is perfectly fine, as in the real world companies pop up and close all the time. But what about corporations consuming other corporations? Well currently this is a common tactic in real life, perfect example Microsoft recently consumed Mohjangg taking all their research, assets, and staffing (bar those in the agreement to leave the company) with them. Enter stage left : Corporation Merger Mechanics.

Corporation A decides to merge with Corporation B. Currently one corporation would have to completely shut down, move players, and move assets to the other corporation. Losing research in the process. What if two corporations can use a "Merge" agreement? This would allow seamless transfer of all members and assets, part of the agreement can be what roles certain members retain upon transfer. Research would combine, where research overlaps there is no bonus as this would be a natural loss in a merger anyways.

Adding this mechanic can help corporations to synchronize together, and even create a market for buy outs with in the game. It would also allow smaller corporations that want to join larger ones to do so with out having to worry about holding open the previous corporation so as not to lose specific research.

Anyways this has been my thoughts as they came to me based on the fact I am using an alt in a dead corporation for their research while NSE increases its tree, which is a situation where this mechanic would come in extremely handy.

NightSong Entertainment, a gaming community as well as an in game corporation, is looking for new blood. We have players that pretty much do it all, and are willing to take on rookies to help them out. Things to bear in mind though :

- We work together, if you are not a team player don't bother applying.

- We do not tolerate serious harassment in chats, some banter between NSE members and others is ok but as soon as it becomes personal or an attack there will be repercussions.

- We do PvP when we can, replacement bots are offered so don't worry while you learn. Our opponents may be more skilled but we learn from every situation so never give up!

- Our politics are for our members benefit. If it no longer benefits our members or our members want to do something else or go somewhere else the corp will do it.

- Even our opponents are allowed on our TeamSpeak 3! This allows each member to gain extra insights from both sides when they do chose to visit us!

- TeamSpeak 3 REQUIRED for all PvP or Group combat activities, no exceptions.

If you are ok with the above information, and still want to come play with us then let any NSE member know. We have multiple recruiters on throughout the day!
