i artifact in a sequer... Better accumulator to run speed nexus and able to scan.  i honeslty would take a diablos vs an ikarus but with the slope thingie i would still choose a sequer.

I can't believe no one has brought up the fact that the Hermes has 16U worth of cargo space.  So what every 5-7 artifacts im gonna have to go back to station?  I really like the speed that it has, however is the reason for the increased speed to run back to stations?  Awesome idea about having better loot from the artifact npc's, as this would encourage more group play.  But, forcing people to have groups to artifact, when artifacting has been a solo thing since forever, is not wise.  I like the option of you "Could" get better/more loot if you interact with the npc not you "Must" kill the npc's in order to receive you booty.  Overall good initiative good thinking, but you should really take ur bots out and use them before you send them to the world. Im referencing the 16U(only complaint).

so the promy got an HP nerf but it's speed stayed the same... Looks balanced Zoom keep doing what ur doing i think it's working

Imagine when there was a server reset it would set all structures to have 1 AP.

omg the dramatic chipmunk awesome!  i think my favorite part was when the hoe train was running with the seth leading and the gropho was in the back like "Hey guys wait for me".

has anyone done T3 taps on gamma?  Im curious what that's like seriously does anyone have any experience? How much would you risk doing beacons on gamma that don't give *** for payout?

i had an idea of combining taps to create bigger ones @ diminished return but no one went for it.

the amount of time and resources it takes to build a gamma base you could just alpha mine to make up for the extra cost to produce on alpha.  No real "Need" to have a gamma base other than to say you have one.

Both of yall mofo's forgot the most important thing, which is you have to power the entire base.  3 ways you can power your structure.  The First is pump cryo in it, which after a time costs a butt load of liquizit and hdt.  The Second way is by having energy fields, which require energy wells.  And if you're not close to the well itself you need command relays to transfer the energy.  Last but not lease, energy transfer it yourself.  This includes getting a bot, usually a rivler or a symbiont, and slapping energy transfers on them and aiming  said transfers at your reactors and transfering.  Any way you look at it, powering  these stations takes a ton of resources.  You're lucky though, there used to be a bug that wiped out your entire energy grid every server reset.  A bunch of players i know got screwed over having to dump millions of cryo in their reactors only to get screwed in the end. Thx Zoom im still salty about that one.

Zoom, can you give numbers to ur blog chart.  Everyone is complaining the #'s are too high.  YES they're supposed to be high for the first bit of ep.  Show people what the ep gain is after the first 500k then a mil then 1.5 then 2 ect... I see what u did and why you did it.  All people see is the top of the funnel.  As a community lets try to keep the comments to a supportive and not toxic environment.  I think we can all agree this is a positive system.

Dev Zoom, great job.

I might return when syndicate robots hit.  Probably not but maybe.

If the population truly is rising again its probably best we both stay away

Idk jita, jokes making an interesting argument for some of us to return by hitting blue saps.  just saying

I wouldn't worry about Ville coming back.  Ville is a fan of the game and wants to experience it.  It's other people i would worry about.

Progressing faster will just make player leave sooner

Progressing in the game isn't just about extensions, they only enable you to use stuff that you still have to get somehow. EP gathering so far was just some sort of a delayed unlock-mechanism that you had very little control over, and as such it held no incentive to play. We are not subscription-based anymore, we don't gain anything by locking content behind timewalls.

All things being equal i say good job Zoom.  Adding in content, which allows people to progress instead of waiting.  F00k people we cry when they take stuff away and when they do add stuff in you cry about it.  Who gives a *** about if newbies have massive ep.  Everything said and done its adding stuff to the game hands down.

Also I am fine with the current EP gain tbh. Considering current state of game... who cares if newer players can catch up to veterans, not like most of us care to actively play anymore. Besides it encourages them to try more difficult, challenging, and profitable things if they believe they have the right gear and EP sent in the right areas to do things sooner.

All I am seeing here is veterans worrying about newbros catching up and being able to compete tbh. Although there is the risk that this patch could make the EP upgrade DLCs obsolete due to EP gain... Other then those though I think the current system is fine by me for now.

Something bmg and i are actually agreeing on.  Zoom stated it right, they want people to be able to jump in and play and not have to "wait to progress".  This allows newbies to be able to drive the bigger stuff(effectively) faster.  I remember waiting a month and a half of Boosted ep so i could drive a heavy.  I think yall are forgetting what it was like.  And who gives a *** if it's an industrial getting EP.  Still can't cross train effectively even with 2M EP.

Put in mk3 bots! Change bonuses and add a race specific weapon slot. Shouldn't be too hard right? Easy content fix I would think for now..

Ville's been asking for this for years.  Make a version of a rivler that has specific RR bonuses and bam instant content.  Small example of what could be done.

arent you supposed to get diminishing returns after a certain amount of EP.  Even if noobs get 3M+ EP in a month let them be man.  After a certain amount of EP i'd say around 1.75M, EP becomes less of a factor on winning.  Massive amounts of EP will allow for players to be able to specialize in multiple rolls, which will be funner/better for the community.  More rolls=more bots more diversity.  It's still Seths online, but atleast people can play other things if they choose.  Let whatever they did playout don't just jump on the quarterback after the first play.  (Here's my jab) Also, by community i meant a community of one.

I would like to comment on this subject, but im tired of being the jockey that's hitting the horse.  Called him out infront of everyone had tickets open.  I would like to comment again about how we need a new dev team or that the current one needs to be expanded.  Two hamsters turning the wheels aren't going to be able to keep people interested enough to retain old and new players.  Let the girlfriend go shes done her job but with no teeth shes just not attractive anymore.

First off i'd like to thank you for not having a 10 line sentence this time, however your punctuation still needs work. As stated previously, i was commenting on jita's "I stopped playing games after perpetuums last chance was snuffed out by six people who would rather end the game than compromise". So who grinded most of you peopel out of the game?  Who was crying because they had to alarm clock to keep their stuff?  Are you claiming the ammount of people that we had playing at that time was a large force?  I think we've already confirmed it was only 6 of us.  Thanks for the comment.  Ok so after the game dies yall take everything back.  Good Job on being masters of nothing.  Have fun playing with yourself, which you should be used to.  tongue

i was just commenting on this

While we're on the subject, who asked for the mission pay out nerf?  Because i don't hear anyone asking to keep that.

POE and NSE were on a break so the roaches moved in while the owners were away.  So while everyone was trying to get their slice of the pie NSE made a deal with jokes so jokes had Nawuy.  NER had all of greens and the russians moved into  blue's.  While everything was in good fun PHM was trying to live on blues, but the only deals that could be made were that PHM could have Nova.  Wouldn't even give him 1 beta 1 terminal to do missions out of.  So they got spanked, everyone quit and we got blamed.  Might i had that we used the same/better tactics that they did, however we were just successful at it.  Congratulations to our 6 man group that destroyed the game.  *Drops the microphone.
