Just make it fun and aestetic roll big_smile

I like to think about the "time-based progresion" as a "ZPG elements" in the game.

There's more such games out there, not just two so-called "time-based". Actually, you might have some players who likes ZPG, because it's very cool, when you play a total ZPG, but sometimes having fun with it...

Randomised stats is dumb because it won't really be randomised. You will just produce enough so you get the good ***. All your doing is filling a hanger with crap when you could do the same thing by making the cost more expensive.

Do you really think to fit a mesmer you would make six and then go 'oh well, three suck'. Of course not. You just make enough so that they are all good.

The point is that we're still a full loot game where you can't just build the "best" module and be done with it. Unless you don't intend to ever use and risk them. And getting max on everything will be near impossible anyway, so yes, you will go with "good enough". But more importantly it will generate a lot more demand for gamma minerals than a simple fixed tier would, without making the modules crazy expensive to build.

Yes you can build the best module in game and go with it.

Here's what we don't want:
Weapons with different ranges.
Weapons with different rate of fire.
Weapons with different reload.

RNG items suck.  Very badly.  Don't you bring that garbage into this game!!

+1

A modules near impossible to get... Sounds perfect for carebear fit smile

Actually the price of death it's not so much here compared to EvE, where you clone and implants might cost a lot more, like 10 times more than your ship.
I like the way it is here. Don't take the bot you can't afford to lose. It's simple.

The only good thing that this feature can give it's a convinience. When you get blown up you don't need to do all this routine with buying and remembering all the modules. By the way, there can be craftable items for recovering every size of bot and equip, like a charges for it somewhere in character sheet. And the NIC cost too.

Making it Alpha or NPC only can have a negative effect, because the carebears may became more terrified by PvP where "omg, you can actually lose robot for good"...
In any game, most players prefers to PvE, with PvP sometimes. The rest is mostly PvP. So i think the best thing to encourage more people to PvP it's just bring more players in game. No need to make PvP easier or force people to it...
And PvP have some other price in such games anyway: time spent on it...

I'm not against this feature, but i don't see a real reason for it. Well, maybe for a first 2 weeks, for newbs...

I don't really like so much randomnes in games. So i'd prefer T5 to be something else.
Because it'll be too complicated: a lot of different items in the contract system, and an inconvinience when you have your bot(s) with full extensions which you used to pilot. And if it's gets blown up, there's two possible options depending of how this feature will work: it's either a little different bot everytime(which may be inconvinient), or you buy items with the maximum possible roll, making all others obsolete.
I think the vets here can come with some better concept of T5...

The buddy program - i think it'll be better to reward credits only. Becacause it's may be abused for EP by creating a lot  of alts, which is not good because of many reasons. Although some things for increase MAY be good, if done properly. but not by buddy program.

In general, it's good to see so many plans for game in this year. That way one day we may have dungeons and aircraft smile

Because i'm sober enough do decide it myself when i...
...want pure PvE, without worrying about the others. Because it's... fun for a while?
...want PvP, without worrying about farming(buying ICE for $?)
...want some risky PvE in PvP zones with my corp.
...many other things that i might want in a "sandbox" game. Like owning a base or being a stump thet logging in just for EP and chat...

Most of the people in any MMORPGs are carebears. If you want more people in PvP then you should want more people in the game first. Because i haven't seen too many carebears on alphas either.

c) A passive obtaining of kernels from some "research" thing. A small amount so even a novice will make more on low level missions. Just select the type once and it's generates some amount of kernels every day. And the extension to increase it a little bit.

Well, something like R&D agents in eve, which aren't proffitable, but a little passive income is interesting, even if it'll be just a small bonus when you sell it all a year after smile
That way there'll be an additional small but constant flow of kernels to the market.

Hello everyone.

I need a clarification. For not screwing everything up smile

If i'll activate EP Booster for let's say, 6 months, then i can forget about this game completely, and do not log in for these 6 months... And after that, return to the game with a lot of EP? (2160*30*6=388800)

Sorry for my English. Haven't used it for a long time...

Well, maybe it's too much to expect this game to run smoothly on tablet... But anyway, here i am, who prefers sensor over the mouse.

I'm using the Wacom stylus on Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga S1. It's very precise and i have no problems with small objects.

I've tried EVE with that, and it's was fine.

The problem is...
1. When moving a window, i have to drag it horisontaly for a bit, and then it'll move normally.
2. Selecting objects from overview worksonly by right click (a click with a button on the pen).
3. Camera rotation is VERY sensitive, and it's works strange, more like a soystik, not a mouse.

That's strange, because i'm using this pen in all other windows apps and haven't seen any strange behavior, it's functions like a mouse...

I'mnot expecting this to be fixed, but who knows...

Of course, with the character.

But maybe the character selection is enough?

Or maybe even this site will be enough to prevent a character from sleeping? smile

I just don't have time to play games atm, but i'm looking to less painful way to raise a character in a long term. Maybe later i'll decide to buy a booster for that, but not right now.
