2) would be possible to do, but 3) would only result in idle players sitting in chat...

Hum, ok, but first chat in game maybe is not so orrible, because there are people online doing something in game, maybe help other people and so on, so they are actually doing somthing in-game. Than maybe it's possibile to detect some activity of the player, I don't know exactly what you guys have in hand about player's activity, maybe you can find some "attribute" that value like "activity in game", so you can translate this in the 25% (or other) Ep bonus.
Thank you for reply wink

EDIT: I understand that stay in chat maybe is not playing, and I think this is not my intention, I want to find a way to push player to play the game and have a reward more appealing than "just" have money and resources from the game, something like xp playing the game.

Maybe You can study a EP reward doing in-game activity (with a daily cap maybe)

Hi, I have some suggestion to implement the skill system, actually to give from one side the opportunity to all people to grow up, and from the other side to push more player to play really the game.

Now there are two way to skill an agent:
- logging every two days to redeem EP
- take the EP booster and you don't need to login for a month, and you'll take 50% of EP more per day

I think that this system is ok, but a more diversification of option will push more player to spend money and time in game. So here are my list of option:

1) pay 2400 PC (Perpetuum Credits) to have the actual EP booster (no login required for a month, 50% of EP more)
2) pay 1000 PC (more or less) to have just the "no login required for a month" option but not the 50% EP bonus (helpful for example during holiday)
3) when you play for 3/4 hrs per day (we have to decide a minimum time per day, maybe more or less, obviously hint are welcome) you have 25% EP bonus
4) you can login every two days same as before to redeem EP

In this way people are free to choose his own path, and decide to invest time or money in the game.
Also lowering the price in option 2 can bring more money to the game.
The point 3 from my view is intended to push more player to play actively, obviously, and maybe the possibility to fill the gap between old and new player.

I know that this will be a big change, but I think the game need a speed-up system, in term of resources for development (money) and human presence in-game.

I really like the new speed-up system for movement and the announced system of new micro updates, I think it's time also for a these changes in the skill system an payment.

Hope at least this will be a point of start to discuss some implementation in these system.

The word is to you
