Just a quick and small movie about the battle for South Iseitsu earlier this month. Sorry for not showing when we got stomped, but trust me I tried to make that corrupted file work. Well, it was a no go, but the end showing the dominance should be enough to get the idea.

I see the boosts as a subscription, where the EP you get is what you normally would get from subbing. While the non-boost players have to get by with 67% of that for playing the game for free. If viewed like that its a pretty generous deal really.

Ive been a bit slow... didnt realised this Forum channel existed, gah! big_smile

A think most older PvPers are well aware that losing is part of the whole concept. Doesnt matter how good, well geared or experienced you are, you lose sometimes. Might be harder for newer PvPers, but I guess its just a phase they have to go thru.

Except for the errors in his review. Otherwise a good review to attract new people which we badly need of course.

It seems even our enemies recommend my corp *bows*

We sure could use a new member or another 100, so youre more than welcome to join smile

Short and sweet, well done, what did you use? Just curious.

Premiere, but this one could have been done with a much lighter editing program.

I dunno about the "Steam plan", it got me into the game and look at Cons, they are like 330 people (yeah, not all active, but who has that?) and I grew 45 people in 3 weeks and this is now, not at steam launch and Ive seen other smaller corps grow too.

Could it be better? Of course, it could always be better, but I see new people joining the game daily. The question is if they will stay? In my humble experience with many years in EVE, also recruiting among many newcomers, the "staying on" statistic is pretty horrible, the same statistic should apply in Perpetuum. This shouldnt be a cause for alarm tho, since its a natural thing.

Unfortunately because you're new, you don't have the practical experience and know-how to comprehend what the changes to gamma on the test server actually mean. I don't think there's more then 2-3 people in the whole game who comprehend it.

But looks like homeboy Anni is the only one lending his famous perpetuum expertise on the test server, which pretty much confirms my suspicions people gave up trying to point stuff out.

I cant help if youve lost yourself in the game and lost what this game was ment to be. Maybe the devs have aswell by this point, but then we need to bring them back to what their early promise was.... sandbox.

Ive been trying to do CPR on the hamster for 3 hours now, but Im not even sure its the right one...

Now, I must say Im pretty new here, but NO to Gamma islands seems like a deathsentence to this game. Thats the only true sandbox feature in it.

The reason I gave this game the finger in the first place as a closed beta tester back in the days is because I discovered the beta islands had only fixed stations. I felt robbed as so many other promising "we are gonna be a sandbox game" games back in those days. They *BEEP*ed it up closer to release, worst game ever to do it was Dark Fall. 7 years later in their production, just before release, there was only a skillbased system left, no sandbox what so ever.

Im not saying this game couldnt use some more content in other areas, but without the only thing actually making this game a sandbox game, its over, IMO.

I got mostly irritated, as a new guy to the game, that there might be a ton of hidden effects that will literally take forever to catch up to.

Guess the old classic trial and error have to do.

What really separates the young from the old, the ones knowing what things actually does. Shame on you corporation, you should have made this available to us all a long time ago. Theres no excuse being a small indy company with this.

PS: You had 5 *** years.

PSS: Especially before a *** steam launch...

How about them actually give you the full amount of acc instead of whats being blocked by any eventual active resists? This would make them actually worth using in PvE especially.
