Games bought in "poor" regions are region locked, and cannot be traded (source: I live in one of them and get the benefit of said poor man reduction big_smile). Unless of course you start trying to game the system via vpn's or buy via 3rd party resellers and those have a history of getting the game yanked from your account or the account banned.

I'll wait for perp to go sale though. I did like it when I played it years ago, but the game had very low population even back them and it just seems much worse now.

That didn't quite answer the question, but thank you anyway smile

I already knew the dlcs are for convenience only and same can be achieved with the base version + added time.

I had played for one month when EvE players had invaded Perpetuum. I hadn't played long enough for my account to get the free conversio to full account after this game went B2P, so I believe my (old) account doesn't count as "active".

I have since moved back to my native country (India), which enjoys regional pricing in my local currency on steam, so that means games in general cost about 1/2 of what the games cost in US. Currently, with the lower prices in general + the sale that is ongoing, the price of Perpetuum - Superior Edition will set me back Rs. 730 which roughly translates to $11. I'm assuming that's a good deal?

The game is on sale so I was thinking of buying it, but judging from this thread I'm guessing it is a very bad idea? Also, I have a character from before. How do I link it to the steam purchase if I do buy it?
