Even if they delete their cargo you still have a chance to loot their fit modules. That's still looting.

I started naming all my bots because of this. If it doesn't say Super-Hauler-Arkhe-9000 then I'm in the wrong window. Any of the above mentioned solutions would be great though.

Finally found it (and remembered to come back here): http://forumsbetaarchive.perpetuum-onli … and-grids/ its from beta so I don't know how useful it is. Stuck at work so I can't compare maps right now.

Not currently, but there is a thread requesting that. http://forums.perpetuum-online.com/topi … -resizing/ I'd love to see something like that implemented.

The charge is burned up attempting to mine ore and finding nothing but dirt. Active scanning would be nice, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Also demanding the devs "fix it" is a sure way to get ignored.

Some serious inferiority complexes going on in here.

If something like this were implemented you would need to see passable terrain including current vegetation. Dynamic vegetation growth has been the devs reasoning behind the lack of autopilot. I imagine updating the map with current vegetation and then updating every time someone harvests something would put quite a burden on the server. Maybe a shortcut key to place autopilot waypoints so you can at least set them while you walk a path. That would at least make it easier if you have to run that path again.

I'd rather see your idea implemented as you stated it, but I think the devs said there are limitations at the moment.

Someone suggested a secondary ammo hold that you could load and switch to when needed. That may be a simpler solution than yours, but yours seems more elegant.

There are some user made maps of the islands with this, but an in-game grid for the map and radar would be an excellent addition. If someone doesn't beat me to it I'll try to find them and post a link when I get a chance. Better than nothing for now.
