it cant, because the CT damage has a random factor built in, and is not linear at all.

the more cycle feature is very usefull if you consider those factors.

i was farming drones yesterday, to get my knowledge base started.

when i went to the drone spawn, there was noone else there. Then someone came, tried to kill some (and i let him a few).
After a while, the same guy whined in the general about someone farming a spot and he couldn't get any kill.

If he was on the tutorial mission - he could have send me a tell and i would have helped him.
But if he runs away and starts whining on the GC before that, i'm really tempted to just grief him...

try to produce ammo over night with high efficiency for a whole corp...
the more-cycle-extensions comes in very handy for that (when one cycle only needs 2 hours for 6k Ammo)

also, mech production - theres nothing more anoying then knowing your production is finished at 3 o'clock in the night, and the next cycle could already beginn.
For PvP Corps the production lines should never stand still.

god thanks the mechs are not npc seeded anymore, or the forum would overflow with such topics...

what the others wrote: Mechs are meant to fight Mechs, and to do it effectively, you need at least the same extensionlevels for weapons and bot as you have on your assault - just to compare them.

you wouldn't need to use the search - that other topic with the answer was still on page 1

no NPC will do some single damagetype (except for those shooting with sonic missiles)

they are all shooting with the same ammo as the players, except for the mission ammo.
you can find out their damage type by looting them (they drop the ammotype they are shooting with) or by visual effects (Laser color, or colored cloud on impact)

example: Cremator Arbalest npc is shooting with Composite slugs, which will do all damage types but mainly kinetic. I forgot which missile type they have fitted (3rd star Cremator)

Vsync on or off?

i know that this game is very CPU heavy (procedural textures). The Terminal background is one of those.
Because it doesn't need much GPU power to render that background there, (or the one of the Login-Screen), your framerate will go up into several hundreds.
That on the other side WILL heat up your GPU, and probably also affect CPU usage.
Vsync on will reduce that

On the other hand - FreeAV from Avira had a huge memory leak problem over the last cuple of weeks, which i though it was perpetuum. One of the recent updates fixed it and my system is much more stable since then. If you're using that one, make sure you have it up to date.

    thats 8h 24min worth to switch to Lasers

or, if you start with a TM-A combat agent, it will cost you

  • 1736EP
    thats 28h and 56min worth, to switch to either EM guns or Lasers.

you wont get the free weapons and bots from the tutorial missions, but there is really no need to delete an agent if you didnt f*ck up the attribute choices.

sorry, i dont get that graph.

for me roundup[(basevalue / CT quality)/(1+sum of extension %)] gave me the exact the result i saw in the factory.
after then everything / standing bonus and i got it +/- 10 pcs due to rounded standing display. (that for heavy mechs, which need tons of mats)

the whole discussion can stop here now, as we are 4 weeks into the game now, and that whiny guy there should have his sensor extension on the same level as everyone else who had a little headstart.

BizzyBeast - did you play beta? I cant help but you sound exactly like one of the *** from beta that complained about things while sitting in an alpha terminal the whole time.

ah, its to late for me too, to dig out my spreadsheet that worked pretty well during the beta.
just in case, any calculation only works for virgin CTs anyway, because the displayed CT quality is rounded.

during beta the Relation bonus for the Factory was ~10%ME/TE for 100% Relation (you have to build the average yourself - guess what, the relation display is rounded too wink)
