To effectively tank a gropho:  you need shield plus rechargers + shield hardeners.
To effectively tank Mesmer/Seth:  you need only leg slots.

The Ictus is plaqued by LOS of too many plants.  Just like dps turrets from Old gamma days...  Neuts hit hard because you have to make every shot count.  Just like you, the developer, said about dps turrets in gamma base.  The Ictus need to make every hit count.

Waspish have less leg slot but need head and leg slots to make tank, sad

i don't say something completely oppositte of all others - i just say it different in most cases.
You seriously lack reading comprehension skills when you read my post the way you did...

My reading comprehension is fine.  I'm used to a community that's not for having its hand held every step of the way and finds ways to amuse themselves.  How ever 99% of the players in this thread are content with orange npcs the way they are but you.  So let's cater it to the one masochist who thinks time risking his bot and equipment to spawns that once every 3 hours drops a tiered item is soooooo fun!  Woohoo!!! 

We had a great time on novaya with jasdemi, black ice and billy farming beacons.  Now that got nerfed too??  Do you guys even want players to have FUN?   The fun part is getting T2-T4 loot drops.  Theres no fun in mindless farming at a static spawn.  I have two accounts this is my miner/follow bot account.  Now your telling me I need to do crappier spawns do my follow doesn't die??  Now I have to train hardcore into shields ?? 

And another thing, why do green bots neut, suppress and ECM ?  It's like you make group play but there's 65 people playing, wtf?  Hello?  Ewar needs to chill out on these lower tier mobs.

because NPCs difficulty is on the level of an asian grinder, their loot drop has to be on level of an asia grinder.

So you suggest making it HARD for newer players?  Make it more engaging for mobs that drop hardly any escalated loot?  Are you like a CSM or something after reading through the forums I feel like everyone has an opinion here.  Then there is this guy named Annihilator, who sits in the corner and says something completely opposite.

Blitzkrieging bases was also a big problem with Gamma 1.0 but was mitigated by the sheer amount of shooting required to break the layered defenses.

If you use my advice, Gamma bases get some extra security, stability and fun fights over terminals. Less risk translates to more people inhabiting Gammas and more content. It wouldn't go against the 2.0 mandate. Islands would still be open and roamable, turrets still deactivatable, but bases themselves sturdier needing more time and commitment to siege. The risk vs reward right now is beyond insane and needs to be looked at.

make everything range on the base and players will never kill it.  0 offensive cover.  No way to attack it.

I have read through most of this and being a new production/market guy I spend a lot of time on my alt farming my own materials.  I observed earlier if I wanted to be able to do something effectively in this game I would have to multiple accounts.  I wanted to tap into a pocket of the market which is very very bland.  Prototypes.  I have had 6 Prototypes on the market right now.  Out of all the prototypes I have placed on the market only 2 have ever old.  I put a 25% mark up on the base manufacturing costs and nothing more.  The problem is not people trying to seed the market, No one is buying and it makes me sad sad   There are too many terminals and everyone spread to freaking far apart.  A poor sequer can only haul so much.

After a couple of weeks of protos sitting on the market, I wish to announce to the general public that I will be providing T2 and T3 Protos to the market at reasonable prices.  Currently on the market are T2P Medium armor plates and T2P light em guns.  I am based out of tellesis and thats where the protos will be set.  There are also buy orders up for all minerals so miners feel free to give me some love and sell to the orders there big_smile

List of things coming include T2P and T3P ECMs, ECCMs, Sensor Suppressors, Demob(s) and (L) and various "blue" weapons.  If you have any questions feel free to send me an in-game mail or post particular items here.  I am a fairly new producer and I have to buy all the kernals off the market, so research comes slow. =/
