Do make a little note in your post that while titan ore might have a better base for profit it highly depends on the market. titan ore yesterday gone for 0.6 nic.
while Stermonit  cost 1.6-2.0 nic.

so while mining easy ores seems profitable, the harder to mine ore's usually give more.

on that note again, titan ore is highly needed in everything and might sell faster thus gaining profit faster (not more)

They just degrade based on "difficulty/side of made item and decoder used"
As you can surely find around the forum, its simply better to invest ep at making more items per run then xx runs of one item.

A ct can be used about 3 to 4 times based on your extension mat/cost reduction before you can just drop it in a container for save keeping or trash it.

I don't have numbers  but its Corp rep+extensions+decoder that sets the cost and it seems that "but not sure about at all" the specific item also has a base cost.

This is a guide section, not a discusion section realy. unless you going to use the outcome to build a reference scheet?..

anyway. cannons no range difference? .. a call a 77 or 100-20 optimal range a big difference  , fall off might be the same but did you think about its damage decrease and miss chance?

there is only one reason to use any form of firearms. thats if your planning to use Ewar bots.

Odd bug, hope you get in soon, but seems to me the auto disconec function is acting up.
( it suppose to disconnect you if you try to login again)
At worse you have to wait till a server reboot, but i'm sure a dev will pick it up before.
note: 4:30am for the devs right now. so might be a while.

Mining charges are atleast currently kept seeded as the market would explode if its chanced to player controlled currently.

Ammo is already played controlled, the seeded prizes are far higher then the player one.
the demand is higher then the supply and that keeps current prizes up, there is still a healthy market profit to be made for those who want meddle in it.

When you did your first run it coste 192 for you, but the 2th run of the ct will cost more the 3th more. so while you had to pay 224 , this could have bin 228,4 whitout the 2%.

its better to make 4 items per run , then 4 runs of one item.

no, theres nothing that can shoot you on sight (there are no player faction npcs)

and you will always be able to do the lvl 1 missions

i heard that negative standing will affect the facilities.

Correct, negative standings influence the services the corporations offer. it does not impact you at this point as every corporation have its own full range of services on their own island. how it will be down the road in one year nobody can tell. but save to say that everyone will likely have one corps deep  in the red numbers.

USe the enter button.
Take out the RAGEEE!!!.
Devs might read it then.

well sounds like you do know what your doing so as the other said, its all very slow now. and you don't need hours in the game to adv but you wont adv faster then any corp player would. specially the large corps will adv way faster then you. as a solo player you either have to depend on your own production/hunting or wait for the market to "level up" , how fast your own hunting/production rate is depends on the time invested.

best thing to do for you is to join a nice corps you feel relaxed in. working whit people toward goals is always faster then alone smile

there is no discussion why its needed, theres only a few stuborn people saying no for the sake of no and to keep the personal adv they might have (that grows over time) .

From a player to player perspective your advantage will only get smaller over time.  The more expensive extension levels for the same gain ensures this.

From a player to 'any noob just starting' you will obviously gain a wider margin over the starting point all the time.

if you have two players both happen to go ..lets say lasers...one takes pure milliary spec and gets laser cost to [3]  the other takes a military/indy spec not knowing well what he is doing he gets laser [5+] this means over time the cost increases alot. over time the later player will play twice as many ep as the first player for the same skill.

now in my personal case, my atributes aint to bad, and i waisted a full week of EP on skills I probaly never will use again, means im running a week behind and over time (lets saya  year) I need to spent 125% the ep cost instead of "100%" if I spected corectly. again, someone whit "bad" atributes will pay 200% the ep cost.

Lasers are among the best weapon type you could have currently haha.
LoS is not perfect but it does work, if your firring down or up hill and hit rock don't go scream LoS bug right away zoom in and move the camera to the ground you see the little hills and such that are blocking your shots.

eagle eye perspective gives a false scene of LoS.

be glad you got laser and not firearms, then you know what truly sucks to have, looks good at base but once you spent some ep.., less damage, less range, same LoS issue's and you get less energy cost in return..whooo...

Yup unfortunate I have a year account. and I am screwed some what in the attributes system and a lot in the ep usage. there is alot of lacking info at the start of the game and while game mechanics need to be discovered and explored the use of basic attributes that are essential to your entire progress and the first EP that sets the direction for you entire career need to be clear and bug free/balanced /known.

ending up as a half military/indy asintec that gets to use laser robots but has taken firearms up to lvl 9 (+2 medium) and finding out there are no rorbots at all designed to use firearms, that your basic stats suck and that after a week of play any other weapon type has more survivability then you, does more damage then you at lower weapon skill and out range you  is not fun tongue.

you cant expect a new player to readup on every single item /bot/ gun data read everything to know about the game ahead of time on forums and planners just not to screw him/herself over.

a single atri-ep reset is needed, and should be granted to every player ONE time after a fixed amound of play time. Then you can say, you had time to learn the game, see what you like and now you get your last and final choice.

Need respect, badly! tongue serious I do need it , or a firearms / bot balance pass.  got over 10k ep in useless skills. and yes firearms are useless once you hit the lvl 2 mission marker.

I would even pay a few bucks for it haha.. seeing the acound that toon is on is pre-paid for a year..boo ..

anyway just a bumb. as for the sod off callers bad behavior..everyone may say what they think is best. no need to"call names " becource one does not agree.

Well firearms may have a big starting bonus, but due to high falloff damage reduction , short range optimal range and not having its own "tank ish" bot they fall behind in survivability as soon you spent the first 20k ep.  in order to dish out that suposingly good damage you have to get close, that means you draw argo of every bot around you. and you simply get ***. having 9 lvls firearms  and 3 levels of laser skill i take a tiny bit longer to kill whit the lasers but i survive lvl 2 encounters easy.the firearm encounters is a Mather of getting in..and waiting well beyond the time it takes for a laser user to kill a bot on repairs. if your unlucky you get the full argo and are dead. wile base damage is balanced. the bonuses are not . you have to spent twice as many ep on sub systems to survive what a laser user can survive.
