Sorry but we refuse to see spark teleport as an issue. Or if it is, it's at least equally helping the game.

That is a great question. I am glad you asked.
Very vague ideas here but:
Something related to NPC spawns and or roamers, - all moderated by GM onfortuntaley have no choice on this one. Placement and other stuff, can add small upgrade packs. who knows still developing this in my head
Something related to plants and maybe small enhancements based on things that people do in the island, thinking similar to EVE systems where players use of the system enhances the content on the island.
Outposts that could offer slight slight enhncements to manufacturing thigns, enough to make in fun
Something related to ore spawns, maybe these islans start off less than people are used to and can be enhanced to something a little more than people are used to.
Cosmetics:::: lots of cosmetic stuff, this is for cash shop, interesting buldings and other structures.
Perrhaps Steam Workshop 3DS Max models ---- wooooo like that idea. All dev/GM approved and behind the scents approval of this and that so there are not infinite ***.
Just throwing the ideas out. Nothing is wrong answer here, I think as long as its not pay to win.
Basically: build an Alpha island Gamma style no PvP just everuything other than that.

Idea:
How about a fresh idea with 3 Epsilon islands that are player built pve islands: A place that people can be a part of and parts of it call their own.
Construct outposts and station
Make and place PVE content area
Cash shop cosmetic things
Improvements to mining and harvesting
All players welcome to play there but may have to get there through one Beta island
I am spitballing here but the general idea is people being proud of a place that they built and doing stuff and it is not destroyable at all. Grow economy there?
You name it, the content can be unlimited!
Possible GM moderation to prevent weird things.

So what is the time line for this zoom ... because there is little to no reason to expend more assets on gamma if your going to wipe them all.
And ill say If you make this change you better be dam sure you never have to wipe gamma again !!!
you have people piss away years of time to say you want gamma to be some thing different .. fine
Zoom one thing to need to take into consideration and make sure if is that the natural landscape of the island follows the same rules as your new terraforming scheme. I.E a natural "cliff" should not exceed the slopes you want to be the maximum slope that you can terraform.
You guys need to communicate things like this a lot more to the players. If you knew you were going to make these changes you should have been honest with he player base and told us " guys don't put too much time into gamma because were thinking about wiping it"
I'm not talking about equipment robots buildings or other assets I'm talking about the time spent terraforming our gammas into our personal paradise.
People put faith in the devs, the game systems and devote time and effort into making the game fun and diverse ... Gamma is one of the last things that was just about limit less, its very sad to see things like this go
Just like the reversal of Epriton back to beta only, now that this is known you need to make it happen soon Zoom ,.... you only worsen the impact of dragging it out 6+ months .. people need to get on with their re designs and colonizations.
no one wants to play under uncertain conditions never knowing what and when the Devs are going to change core mechanics and wipe islands.
TL;DR .. hurry up already so we can get back to business.

None of that matters if there are people active on both sides that know what they are doing.
Gamma PVP is fun but even so being able to wall off an island 2km out from TPs is still bad design & the longer this isnt fixed the more nerd rage the devs will cop in the future.
Since more people will have sunk time into building these kind of defenses.IMO better to get some kind of nerf / mechanic change with a small population & follow up later on with some further balancing.

With so many large changes to several key things, some character builds are all messed up.
They need to at least reimburse the indy skills related to prototyping production stuff that was altered when the kernel research change came in.
Nobody can tell the future.
I don't think full EP reset is ever needed. Players make choices and they need to stick with them. If some mechanic gets changed, I agree that that affected skills should get reset and reimbused.
About the 2: You can take alternative route. Just start training something and you will be there eventually.

Why are you fools talking about ep, vets and no risks? Thread is about arena island - NOTHING to do there but fights on 2km radius arena. No resources, no factories, NOTHING - how long it will take to get completely boring for most of players?
That's for newbies mostly. But even vets may find this useful - we are at low population atm, and sometimes you want to fight without mofo grind/mine/build/2 hours roaming.
it has everything to do with risk, actually

Now, imagine if this was true.
Please, Devs, consider calling Steam and making a deal with them. Steam has made small independant game authors in to well known names. Terraria would be a good example of this, I would say.
Imagine if 1% of 1% of 1% of 1% of the Steam members tried PO?
I absolutely love this game. I dont know what we have to do to convince you guys (Devs) to make a marketing move.
Steam is the obvious choice, in my opinion.
