I think if 50kers had to play in a 20kers shoes for one day, they would be up in arms. Especially playing beta for like a year and somebody can out tag you by 4-5 seconds, in a bot you cant get for 3 weeks, with a 2nd bot following him with remote sensor amps.

You guys would be so pissed, lol.

As is I think its just dumb to give this perfectly casual game, that involves LOTS of player skill, a game breaking advantage to some.

Your Extensions do not define your personal abilities at all. If you have trouble navigating your character around obstacles in the game, an extra 200k EP won't help you.

Personal abilities no, duh, theyre personal. All the abilities in your extensions tab however, can circumvent player abilities really simple like. And my god does an extra 30k really help someone become over powered. Its funny how personal skill can work around EP, in some very rare cases, but extra EP in extensions is USUALLY not able to be worked around.

Why am I trying to explain this to you? Its like discussing advanced algorithms with a toddler who just suckles from his juice box and stares blankly.

Yes, we got 3 weeks more EP than the rest of you.  In 2 months no one will give a *** as it will be barely noticeable.  Move along...

I already stated that I dont give a ***, its my own fault for not joining sooner. The guy just picked the wrong person to misquote.

But to keep on trolling you Early Access folks, I gotta point out how it will matter 2 monthes into the game. You will still be 5 weeks ahead, endlessly. 30k EP is enough to sway heavy percentages in your favor.. Target locking, range, damage, ect ect.

So saying it will magically even out is a bit silly.

Regardless though nothing will come of belly aching over it.

For a competitive specialized Assault combat char you need ~50k EP total. It is less than a month of playing, i think i is balanced for new players

Early access players had 50k the day of normal release, right? And actually its 5 weeks of playing.

I think the arguement is that its IMPOSSIBLE to make up for this. Never has a game given a god mode as a reward for pre-ordering.

While I think it was stupid and uncalled for, I also think thats what I get for not getting involved earlier. Wish the bastards advertised better.

Hello, youre not new you got- (will include 7 days of playtime prior to the official launch, 30 days of normal playtime following launch, and 4 weeks of extra extension points.)

The following is going to hurt your head and your nose will bleed just reading, but stick it out..

1 EP per minute. 60 minutes in an hour (I know you live in ReRe world were time is infinite, but bare with me as we discuss non-brain damaged human beings time). 24 hours in a day, even mondays.

60x24= 1440 EP a day. 4 weeks is 28 days. 1440x28= 40320. AND a headstart of 7x1440= 10080. I dont feel like doing anymore maff, so add those together for the total!!! So youre right, I did mess up how much more you guys got.. BUT THE WRONG WAY FOR YOUR DUMB REPLY.

I will herf a devs bird to get an extra 20k EP. Heck as is id be happy with the chance to respec my 2nd account. Which was a friends who didnt like the game, but of course made a full politics trash useless char first, lol.

I think a bonus 20k is a bit much, unless it was SPECIFICALLY added as market based skills; to get the ball rolling. Does suck that 'No School Today' and his 3 buddies lock .5 faster then me, then again I just go to places noone is. Not that hard.

But who cares what we think.. We should of got the game earlier then we did instead of crying our tits off.

Honestly I didnt follow this game at all and joined a few days ago. Luckily I had the smarts to invest in some solid skills like Nav and basic pilot, but I still dropped some points elsewhere that id like back. It was miserable my first day (after I blew my EP load) trying to do bounty hunter missions without some fast tag skills.

Only thing I could do was watch and send rage filled PMs to the guys out playing me.

As it stands this is a very big problem. People tried this shat on me and I was forced to blow a few days worth of EP teaching them a lesson. Then I tracked anyone from their corp or allied to their corp.. And I taught them the same lesson. Then I said to myself.. Damn I just spent 2 days farming this place just to teach a few jerks, and their associated jerks, a lesson in how to be more socially polite.

Making these mission mobs drop 0 loot is the solution. It does not harm Forum Warrior's egos.. It does not hurt the game AT ALL, it fixes a very real problem that *** farming far away beaches, obviously dont see happening.

Do something else isnt a solution and either is EVERY player blowing EP to max target lock times.

Stop being wastes of sperm and get out of the thread you socially awkward shat burgers.

Its the most casual type of game there is. You dont GRIND your skills. If you started early you are JUST the same as everyone else.

Hardcore players will have more money and stuff though. But they deserve to.

I wouldnt be able to play this game if it wasnt so casual.

Its odd but my computer shuts down randomly while playing this game. At 1st I wa sonly running 1 account and it did it 2 times my first day playing, once my first time trying to log in, and another 2 times today. Now im running 2 accounts today and it doesnt make it happen more often, just the same.

Is it a setting or something? Maybe my HD is going? But it doesnt happen in other games, just this one..

Anyone have this happening too or have any helpful insight?

Thanks for this info, im completely new to the game so this helps me get a jumping point on learning how to be a beast.

So far I thought I had spec'd lots of turret damage, because missles did crap for damage against turrets. But I had only done turret speed which explains the DPS difference, but not the damage. For instance using standards, my turret was hitting for 19, and missle for 15.6. On top of that the turret was shooting 3 times as fast, due to spec.

I hear of LOS issues and other stuff, so this is probably only a newb issue im running into. Makes me want to sell my Casel and just rock ym newb ship for awhile.
