Can we please change the name of "Vicinity Chat" to the "Troll Your Enemies" Channel please.

Now please know that I'm not ripping The Dev team but I do see very little use of this channel other then to just smack talk your enemies (Not a bad thing).

I suppose it would be useful for the starting areas, for talking and chatting, but mostly that would be done in private convo's.  Also when your "in" vicinity chat, the character does not appear in the channel, like it would in general chat and what not.

Anyways I said I would just *** about it tomorrow, and so I have, keep up the good work Dev's, I look forward to the new shinny bots and mods that the entire community would like to have.  yarr

Must...resist....Must...resist...

I would agree somehow I think this shouldn't of happened, its a good thing it happened now, when it really didn't matter and nothing of real value was lost.

Live and learn and move on.

Thanks Dev's for being honest with the community.

Is there a possibility that we could see a small, and I mean small, chance we can get a increase of these somehow.

As in adding them to a npc store, or adding them somehow in a different way perchance?

As it stands now we see very little market activity for them (Yes I DO realize most people do NOT sell them for nic) is very small, 5 heavy mechs traded in the last month.

I'm not asking for a massive influx, just to take a look at the situation and make adjustments as necessary.

Small changes are better then massive over the top reactions.

(I cant keep up with my Mesmer Mk2 losses, if I lose another, apparently I must quit the game for a month.  lol)

I too have spent a unspecified amount of time on a unspecified project on Landers.  Due to the unspecific nature of this unspecific job, I would like all of my unspecified NIC back, as well as all of my unspecified time back.  The time can be specifically reimbursed in candy canes and unicorns.

Thank you for your specified time, I should of probably just made a ticket asking and explaining the situation, but I will make a specified forum post instead.  Good Day.

Arena without losses?

no, because all those "elite" pvp-er would not have their epeen-advantage in there. You can read on forums:

"you can do pvp with t1 gear" -

but you can also translate that into:

"we will pwn your shiny noob-ass with t4 fit mk2 robots that we not fear to lose, because we have thousands already produced for backup in case we would ever lose one"

a loss-less arena enviroment would totally remove their equip advantage - and even those wiht only 1 t4 fit heavy mech could use that one in a pvp fight without hesitation. Extension-levels and actual tactics would be deciding factors - AND THAT does't fit into the hardcore game that perpetuum is.

because perpetuum is a sandbox game is no argument why there couldn't be a sparring or arena system.

because perpetuum is a law-less hardcore game with only a fake PvE side such a system cannot be implemented.

No- Anni, you do not seem to understand how it works, pwning noobs in t1 fits is a player exp gap problem we have right now. We cannot pretend the game is a FFA sandbox pvp with the added arena style combat, or its one or the other. Arena style pvp we have WoT or Mech warrior. Here we get our highs from 'fear' of losses.

So me playing the game longer then other people is a problem? Just because I have more EP? OR have T4 Equipment?  How is that a problem, if anything I would think it would empower the newer players to work a bit more for that better gear and to stick out the game for those awesome stats.

Well, actually, such arena may be good for testing new stuff. Just limit everything you bought there you can use only there, exiting this arena in what you came in.

What you just explained is called a TEST server.

Na.

http://www.perp-kill.net/?m=about

The Perp-Kill killboard is developed and maintained by Mitix.

It is based off the EDK originally created by EVE-Dev.

Mail him, to my knowledge he doesn't play the game anymore, thus will most likely not see your post.

wasn't there a command line option for that already?

Wait there is???

Please do tell.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT ADD LOS TO ECM OR SUPPRESSORS.

They do need to be slightly adjusted, and I mean slightly IE: 5 Percent at high levels.  *Tuners need adjusted as well.

Start Small then if needed nerf more.
I don't see a real benefit to adding LOS to suppressors or ECM.

A overall boost in Arty scanning would be nice, possibly L4's, or just a simple boost of L3's and L2's, leave L1's as is, they are just L1's.

He would still be able to demob you then...even if its up his ***.

Not really sure if something needs to be done, but I do like the idea of having LOS on demobs, just having it so that when your out of LOS its a SMALL drawback.

ECMs are going to be needing tweaking, just because were starting to see some maxed out pilots on the field, suppressors, I see where Anni is coming from on that one.  Make it so you really only need one Amp to be effect in locking time and you would see some improvements.

Its that or I was subverting you to deep mind tricks! (Also I'm happy you actually read my entire post.) You can use grammar and coherent sentences balfy!

To that I solute you, as for the "You don't PVP so you cant have any say in that bah bah."  If you go off of the killboards you will clearly see that the people who actually use the mods for the most part ( OR at least the people who have accounts that use fast tackle, zeniths ect.) are not high on the kill boards, or they are just simply not on the kill boards.

Ofc I'm merely pointing out something you yourself have already pointed out, in a post up.

TDRL:

KBs don't mean anything, they are just a guide of what you have done in the past.
On this basis should not be the only factor in vetting whether or not a player should have balancing input.

I looked for a youtube post but dammit, I couldn't find any  sad

IMO, resources are LOT easier to get than a kernels for high-level equipment so they are prolly NOT a bottleneck. Prototypes market, on other hand, was never even close to alive, mostly alliance deals etc.

As a solo crafter, you'll produce some t1-t2, maybe t3 later most of time. Unfortunately, there is not that much demand on them as t4 stuff. Robots production may be a goal for a beginner crafter, however, prices aren't that much competitive.

So if I put protos up for under mineral value your still not going to buy??
WHAAAA!

Its coming, soon.

***..

You do understand that I was merely showing the absurdity, that kills, and lack of kills makes you a expert of PVP balance.

The funny thing is that most of you decided to attack the list rather then the idea.

Most of everything has quite a bit of balance, however, its mostly sociological, if you can get your enemy to run away from your demobbing zeniths, then in most cases the force that runs dies.  Ask a lot of the FC's in the game, in most cases if your going to die its better to die fighting rather then running and getting picked off one at a time by a maxed out zenith pilot.

Back to the topic at hand, demobs for the most part I think are just fine.  700 meters or whatever the range is, is not game breaking, as all it takes is another suppression zenith to suppress and bam, he cant lock at all.  At least at his max range.

You want to nerf something, nerf it when all, or most of the parties involved, ON both sides agree its OP.  Then do something about it.
