We also just need more pvp islands in general.  The 3 we have is not nearly enough room.

Give me 5 good combat pilots with about 50m cash and I will claim ownership of a non-spesific station in ANY island. Might loose the intrusion event, but those are not the deciding factor.

Adding more island will change nothing. The megablobs will place a scout on each porter and leave the rest undefended.

I use lasers on mine. Mainly because they weigh less than other weapons.

Less weight = more speed.

To bad that item does not exist.

Just allow players to to somehow "jettison" their cargo. It should make a container on the ground. Containers last for 5min and you can only drop a fixed amount of them.

WHAT?

Intakts may be able to stay at range and do dmg, but you should have all the time in the world to get back to a station. Or simply just kite around a tree until he gets bored and leave. Let your SAR running and ask a corpmate to give you a hand whitin the next hour.

Quick teorycrafting would suggest that high skilled troiars have the highest chance of killing an assualt bot. Get in close with Shield + draines/neuts until the assualt is empty and demobbed. Then switch to missiles. You will be very slow and food to any groups or intakts though. Definatly not something I would solo roam with inside enemy territory. Cool baitship though.

Charmelons got good dmg. Scary in groups. But for 1vs1 they are simply too unreliable. You have to fight whitin the locking range of the *** and will most likely be demobbed and trippleshotted once ECM fails.

So as summary i'd say that Intakts and Troiars have a reliable 'chance' to kill an assualt in 1vs1, but as mentioned the TTK makes it unrealistic. EW bots are good to gank arganos behind enemy lines, but I think their 1vs1 effectiveness stops there.

I'm sure they will implement more bots utilizing basic robotics.

FFXIV and APB are both well known while "Perpetuum" sounds like a something you would stick up your *** for enjoyement.

And you are right that these awards are rigged by fanboys.

Soo someone found your real ingame name and you try to manipulate the community into thinking this is a treat to your familiy and kids? You REALLY thing people are gonna belive this?

Why don't you face it. Trolling is one thing. Trolling from an alt to avoid retribution is something else.

The devs said they'd expand on the islands when there was enough population to support it.

I think we're getting close to it.  Right now anyone else who tries to get a foothold in beta will just get roflstomped if they dont have a very strong player base.  Not to say that any corp should be able to set up shop anywhere they want, but right now its very limiting.

Agreed. But I think this is also caused by how easy it is to have a few teams camp each teleport and deny all entry. I personally dislike this one alliance = one island gameplay.

Speed can't be increased unless the islands get bigger.

I don't like the idea of forcing players to the beta islands. I belive there will be a natural progression when the market demand for mechs is increased.

Launchers and turrets can only be fired on the primary target.
You can only have one primary target selected at any one time.

Kaito,

a few points for you to note :

1 - Are you sure you have replied in the correct forum/post ?
2 - Arkhas, i assume you mean Arkhe's
3 - Sitting at the safe-zone near the teleport, does not make you a hunter
4 - The strategy of using Arkhe's to fight, has been discussed at length in other posts, and the general consesus is, that it is the lowest form of the games current mechanics.  You have to be pretty lame to do it.
5 - Do not call yourself a game hunter, you have little or no skill, when you are playing with nothing on the line.  If you want to prove yourself, try to PvP in a bot that actually means something.

I am troubled by your letter good sir. Are you accusing me of being a pigeon?
You must be mistaking me from someone else.

Not very honorably of you at all.

You see. Hunting has proven difficult as of late. Competing hunters have expressed a certain disapproval of my presence.
They appear to have banished my from my usual hunting grounds.

It's slightly broken. Currently I belive the insurance is calculcated from the market price.

I belive there was an incident in beta were a certain corp would start selling bots to themself in order to increase the market price. Which lead to the insurance payoff increasing to the point were it was profitable to TK eachother all day for maximum gain.

Now supposedly this should be harder to do. More players = bigger market etc. I'm not so sure though. Industrialists are selling bots from the trade channel to MUCH reduced price. I doubt this is calculcated into the insurance price.

So you can buy a bot for 1.5m off the tradechannel and have it insured for 1.6m since the market price is 2.2m etc. (Not accurate numbers)

I am intriqued by your offer good sir. Unfortunately I'm not the person to accept such an entising opportunity.

You see. I am a hunter! I live for the sportmanship of the game. I prefer to go into the woods in search of a rare breed of birds. Yes, I belive they are commonly known as "Arkhas". You must be familiar with this species by the look of the goods you provide.

I would pay handsomely for a chance to hunt in your secret proving grounds. Supply me with Arkhas and I'm certain this could be the start of a long mutual relationship! If I can kill enough I might even end up in the local paper!

Heh I still make more money doing lvl 2 missions. No competition and I can sell each T2 kernel for 11k. I also get alot of resist plates that sell for 100k++
And the mobs are hardly difficult. Usually 5volleys each from my Bapho.

Selling kernels to NPC buy orders is a waste. So many players are completely ignorant to how much more money they can make with a few hundred EP into sell orders.

Only problem I see is that NPC buy orders on kernels are set too high. They should be lower while the mission rewards should be higher.

Oh yeah, and there is market browsing while on the terrain, but that's kinda half-done so we'll include it in the next patch notes or something smile

Honestly I think they should have added an extension requirement for that.
MarketPvP and replacing sell orders with -0.01 NIC as trippled after it was implemented.

These topics are getting boring
Those WITH early access say that it's perfectly balanced.
Those WITHOUT complain about it being OP

The noobieareas can't even support the current playerbase. More players would just lead to more spawncamping and QQ.

I'm all for marketing, but make sure that you support your current playerbase before you ask for more.
