Like this idea for many things in principle but I don't think the number of Beta terminals/islands and the way you have to access them makes this possible in Perp as it currently stands.

Yeah but I don't like the Idea that the cream-de-la-cream of bots can be got by doing lvl 5 missions from Alpha 2 terminal and then just buying it there. Taking a sequer with a mk2 heavy in it to a beta station and TPing out with a black bot isn't that dangerous.

It would also make Beta control more critical when if put in to place you might have to swap meet style trade with island owners to get your bot.

I would actually take this a step further and make the reward a single 1/1 efficient CT that can only be made at a gamma station or fully upgraded beta terminal the CT is destroyed upon manufacturing process. (Materials needed same or more than a mk2 HM + a Mk2 HM)

Come on Zoom think more inside the Skinner box and less of the Pavlov dog drooling over shineys.

Jita this would ensure a 3 way fight as no one could control all 3 or even 2/3s of the islands if it means control over blackbot production.

Little bit late to the party but can a prerequisite or necessary item for a black bot be that you deliver a Mk2 of said variant to a Beta 1 station in exchange for this black bot?

Dont want to site the "other game" but all faction stuff is traded by giving a player made equivalent to keep the produced materials from just appearing in game. To get a navy scorp from faction shop straight up you need the faction points, isk and a regular scorp as a trade.

The Beta station only infers a slight bit of danger in getting your newly minted bot. Also other game most blueprints and faction point trade hubs are in lowsec.

If this is so, then there is definitely something wrong. Further, today while grouping with some folks my game froze during an encounter with about 10-12 other bots. It booted me out to login screen where i had to log in again to find that I my bot was destroyed. I have also had the game crash twice while just running around doing nothing or harvesting. Ill take a look around the bugs forum.

Try your draw distance, shadows and other such things on graphics. I have a  great comp but still turn that stuff down or I lag horribly. Decorational plants are also a killer imo.

Lots of work, nice cool

Ville, why we lost every players from sales? Maybe they dont get entertained?

Hate to say it, i like the game, but i'm bored.
I miss such things as 5-player dungeons, or quite fun global map PvE events in Defiance.
PvE should be interesting not just because you need kernels or something.

An idea to solve that a little:

why we dont make mimiced intrusion events at Alpha? So you can scan field terminal and it shows a date and time when the NpC -s come or when you need to do the specimen process, active, passive with Npc attack!
easy good, PVE content

Link it to the outpost/terminal productivity and I'm game. Make the 100-75 stability only bring orange npcs after that random reds come through for saps only. Then at 50% reds start roaming around outpost. At 0 observers camp station on a 15min respawn.

With the 12 people that still pvp I think bmg might be right no one will waste a follow bot that cant follow on a cam. Maybe on a zenith.

Does logging in and out for ep count?

In eve it was discussed and currently works that non-populated systems after 30 mins of inactivity they go in to a sleep mode. Which is why after dt you log in and try to jump you get the wait a second message while the system boots. Same for wh systems through the day.

The real reason.

He wants easy targets to hunt / easy sequer kills.
This is such a terrible idea, that is not well thought out at all.  Just simply a "I want more PVP" button, that isnt considered PVP at all.  Terrible Despicable. Laughable.

I already club seals at will. If zoom is looking for a way to let new accounts not suffer a huge loss. There are only a few options eve handles this wirh a training mission where you suicide after insuring your ship. Another option would be tieing it to bots age. Troll perpetuum if I want soft targets I find them, post on topic and keep my name out your mouth. Zoom even said it might increase pvp. Hell it would help base defence 100%. If I lose a mech under my base undock a lithus scoop it and repair it do it again...

btw, even if the station locks are gone, i see zero reason to move to a beta outpost or terminal.

If any "PvP-starved" ***tard is in the mood, he can prevent me from doing anything just by standing watch under the station if i don't have anything there to fight him... and then, even if i fight my way succesfully out of the outpost,
the killer can undock just a few seconds later from the same station.

and as far as i can tell, most pvp-starving "industrials" are shooting themselfs in the foot by seeding the alpha markets, instead of the beta terminal...

The thing is Anni, it doesn't have to be that way. If the stations get unlocked and Joke move to Hokk do you really think we are gonna get camped in by Lemon and his alts? The idea is preposterous. Anyone who tries to gank will get ganked and the only way they would prevent that is by bieng as ready as the people living there all the time.

Hell, look at the situation all over nia now. I've got the screenshots and chatlogs showing how people wont even engage our players when they are on their own even when we are sat under the enemies base shooting them. People are worried they will get hotdropped. A station is a hotdrop waiting to happen for both sides and the resources needed to effectively camp you in are so great that if they tried doing it to joke they would have to effectively leave two thirds of the game alone.

We are fine with this, recognize our ability to be a lighting rob and welcome people attempting to gank us. Every 'mining op' or 'hauler' is a counter gank opportunity for us too.

Got someone stood under your station? Deal with them. Every tactic has a counter. Every fit a counter fit.

Guess I should bat phone peanut... we will see skynet up in 5 mins

Problem I had with it was people would put a t1 plate on an arkhe, on their alt account go park it on a probe and wait for you to respond. This killed your probe to aoe and allowed then to safely decide if they wanted to engage you or not.

Bandaid fix arkhes cant target probes and have no aoe. Problem would still be they will annoy you till you kill them.
Better fix would be more armor and ability to remote detonate. I would pay 2 mill to blow up my probe and have the aoe kill a light.

New mod time teleport jammer works like a demob but just prevents a robot flagged or not from using a tp. Is considered a hostile act there fore only useable on beta and gamma has a 20 sec cycle with a 15 sec cooldown or off cycle 300m range @ t4 level.
Eve has webs scrams and points. Why dont we.

Because having 12k armor, being demob-immune and running at 90-100 kph is ridiculously broken.

Effect of plates should be drastically increased so that if you want that buffer tank you're actually slowed down.

I suspect the problem in language barrier here.

I'm asking to add the restriction to equip the LWF if you equipped armor plates. Same with plates - it should be impossible to equip armor plates if you already have LWF equipped on your bot.

By my opinion this is the only one change that required to balance everything about demob and speed ratio problems.

Hunter is right also make assaults and lights only able to equip small things only exception is the med weapons.

I hope your joking. Peanut will not sleep for a week again.

Two points.

I have draw distance on the lowest setting.

Forrest's actually make having draw distance higher more needed as you need to plan where you position more.

Jitas right

eve has accu volume info in chassis scanners balgorn pilots use it alot
