Bump.
Very annoying if the SL goes afk or logs off.

market tax. it is better for me to sell something for 40k a piece to a corp mate than on the open market for 45k a piece. I still make more and don't need to waste EPs.

the market tax should be halved and that's it.

Agreed.

It's not all about T4 stuff. A lot of people are interested in T3 as well - especially guns and tunings since the T4 versions are rather expensive (for newer player). The demand isn't growing that strong anymore ... lots of people have already left the game. That leads to the question: which came first, the chicken or the egg?

fixing the market will take time. as a player who has been here since closed beta & then when the game first went live the market has gotten much better. works is still needed & only time can fix it. but i do think it is moving forward.

Hmm ... hmm.

To be honest: i don't know why it needs (much) time for a better developed market. The knowledge and production capacity among the players is already existent. And i can't believe that the market improved since beta.
Maybe to a certain degree but crashed then to an empty landscape? All i know is: when i started playing Perp as one of the EvE refugees in the last week of june - the market was completely deserted. Totally empty.
And it was horrible for me as a new player. An empty market leads to the impression of a dead game. The worst that can happen for a still young game.
I don't know if i would be still here if i didn't met a very helpful advanced "black market tech dealer" in my early days.
You remember Sequer prices of 1m NIC or Termises of over 2m or Assault Bots of 800k?. Of course since late june the market has improved - and that's good! But you can get either T1 or T4 stuff. T2 and T3 is almost not accessable via the market.
My own storage is full of a mixed bunch of modules that i'm willing to sell on market. It won't happen since I'm avoiding the 10% taxes (with my current EPs) like the devil avoids the holy water. The majority of bought/sold stuff is done via direct trade. Avoiding the taxes - and therefor the market - completely.

At some point in the future, if more players are interested in MK II bots, then they will get eaten up very quickly at 1 bot per CT. The only real arguement your making is for them to nerf the drop rate of CT's.

Also, the current 'bottleneck' in MK II construction isn't the CT. It's the cortex's, which is working as intended according to the nerf'd drop rate. Somehow making 25% CT's more useable, won't really make an impact in the speed of production of MK II bots, or the cost.

So, even if we agree that the CT's are 'worthless', there are already too many 'worthwhile' CT's out there. And like Anni again pointed out, the CT is a blue print, not an 'item', so there's nothing but information to recycle. Then the only solution is to reduce the number of drops, or eliminate it completely, anything else doesn't solve it, just shuffles the 'worthless' to another item.

I have to disagree completely.
1.More (new) players means vastly more 25% CTs too. The influx of CTs grows stronger than the demand for MK II bots. And the current player baser with better EPs in the future isn't sufficient.
2.CPU Cortex' being a bottleneck? No. Otherwise the prices wouldn't be where they currently are. At the bottom. Assault CPU 100k, Hmech CPU 450k(?) ...

Recycling CTs into some sort of information = research. Sounds perfect to me.

There are several problems with the current mechanics. Some MK II bots are just not worth to be built (Industrial Mechs) besides for the lolz. I've seen Lithus, Riveller and Symbiont MK IIs but never a Gargoyle or Termis MK II. The demand for combat bots is good and steady but when doing artifact scans you find many many more CTs for industrial bots than for combat bots. Combat bots get destroyed (check Perp KB), either in PvP or even PvE, industrial bots practically never. And as Calio already said: there are hundreds - maybe even thousand - of 25% CTs out there. Combining them for increased % won't do the trick. Simply too many of them already exist and it would only decrease the value of 50 and 75% CTs (even 50% industrial bot CTs don't sell atm).
Recycling them for some decent material or consuming them for research would be great. Maybe 1x 25% CT gives research like one or two T5 kernels of the same robot size. Two ways to take them out of game without screwing up other game mechanics.

Huch was ist denn hier los?

Ps: Papierdrache?

No you mean quite the opposite, don't you? Look at my pic ... it's making you sound as stupid as you look" is more accurate.
What do you mean by posting with your main? I fear sorry for your paranoia:(
Btw it's more about your (corp) ridiculous argumentation why observer spawns should be fixed.

Sometimes i want more damage for rockets, but in global picture pelistians not best, not bad. They are fine now.
Even gropho swarm have counterfleet. (no, not another gropho swarm btw big_smile))

Please share your wisdom with the unwashed masses. I'm a noob myself with a limited mindest ... and i can't imagine what a decent counter could be. Don't forget: a legitimise counter shouldn't consist of twice the numbers of robots ...

I don't know what observers you're talking about, the ones i've seen are like this. They either die and don't respawn, or they die and respawn once, or sometimes, they will die and respawn an extra time. I had a superior observer spawn 50m from me, on my head.

I'm talking about bugged observers that you continually kill for 20+ times with instant-respawns after death. hmm Broken mechanic is broken, but to be honest this feels intended to satisfy the ADD crowd that can't be arsed to grind kernels. Bugs of this magnitude are usually fixed instantly, we're on day 6 after it's been reported.

At least some of us will have plenty of observer-kernels to insta-aquire whatever new modules are added in the game. lol

Dude what are you smoking? Either you're talking bullshit or you (and your corp) is the only one using/knowing of this exploit(?). I've hunted Observers since i started playing ... and it happened only 2 times that another GO spawned the moment i killed one. One more ... not 5, not 20! Hardly a broken mechanic. Have a look at the prices for GO kernels ... higher than ever before. Obviously the market isn't flooded with them.
Do i have to remind you that it was easier to farm them in past? Hint: fixed spawning and artifact scanning mechanisms in terms of observers.

Oh CIR has its research already completed ?? Of course AC should take observers out of game now. CIR = happy = all happy? No.

Afraid of large gangs coming for you in T4 fitted Mechs soon?

Let's say you have 100 rounds of ammo left, your guns are empty and you hit "reload". It's a bit annoying that the game mechanic puts all the ammo in 1 weapon, leaving the other wepons empty. An even distribution across all weapons would be really nice.

What's your opinion?

It's a pain to get to the surrounding area from this teleporter.
Would be great if there were a second exit to the south.

What do you think?

Make a deal with a corp that can provide you with epriton and provide them with titan ore instead? Negotiate mining rights on Beta?

Harharhar ... and harharhar!
Very funny indeed. The last guy looking for such a deal with you got answered "no Epri for you ... but ("worthless") NIC. And some very seeeecret Epri mining spots where nobody will find you."

It was yesterday.

I have a radical solution to rebalance alpha and beta, but i´m certain a lot won´t like this idea. It involves Kernels (Yes another revamp of kernels)

1) remove ALL kernel drops from alpha islands, instead make them a part of alpha  mission payouts. (industry kernels for industry / logistic related missions, other kernels based on the mission objective (shoot green bots give green kernels etc) This will make the combat missions more desireable aswell

2) Let the mobs on Beta continue to drop kernels.

What will this accomplish: People who want to farm kernels in a safe way, will actually be able to farm them at a vastly reduced pace. So corps and players that want to invest in getting technology up will be wanting to go to Beta. Wich would make beta a lot more desireable

Please don't try to start a career as comedian. Your humour isn't funny.

Would be great. Or some kind of hologram.

10/10 for not looking ordinary ... to say the least.

Another source for T4/5 Mech/Heavy Mech kernels is artifact scanning. Of course they are extremely rare.

I have to agree totally with Snowman in this case.
To not announce a patch with new game content, which needs an estimated downtime of 3hours on a friday afternoon (european timezone) ... that's not very clever. And it's not hard to come by to this obvious conclusion.
As far as i can see AC had a really really really good opportunity to spread the word about Perp with the arrival of hundreds of EVE refugees.
What did these hundreds of refugees experience from day 1 on?
1. massive problems with server stability (Devs solved the problem examplary ... but it was still a major problem)
2. the best, easiest, most risk free and most dumb way to earn some NIC/wealth is ... running in a triangle
3. empty market and high taxes, which lead to an empty market
4. without being able to pilote at least a Sequer as hauling bot - you're screwed in Perp
5. Assault Bot nerf: A bot, that is well suited as a beginner bot with few EPs and even better as a veteran bot with expensive mods and lots of EPs was hit by a huge nerfbat. ECCM mods are practically useless now.
Drastic changes in gameplay/game mechanics without announcement and without proper compensation (e.g. free respecc, no way to break demobs now and so on ...) left a smelly taste behind in the mouth of new and interested players.
The presence of Devs/GMs ingame answering questions is considered as an absolutely advantage and the way to go. But that's not enough.

At the end AC wasted a good chunk of a great opportunity ... user peak numbers don't lie.
