Your lips look like someones ***. I tried to make my guy kind of ugly, but he ended up looking like an old school Russian and/or Italian mafiaso type.

Is it basically required to have 2 accounts to play this game? I think I'm gonna give it till the 12th before I go on vacation to see if it's worth having 2 accounts. This way I can start it and gain some EP while I'm away (hopefully the 20k thing is still in effect). I would've assumed being in a Corp would kind of take care of what you're lacking..? I know in UO it was kind of required because you could macro off one another and build two chars simultaneously.

The simplest solution would be to just bind 20.000 "starter" EP to a character upon creation. Completely seperate from the time gained EP that is account based.

New players experiment in their first days and thus screw up in the first days.

Being able to trash your character and reroll a new character in those first few days is all that matters and would basically solve the biggest issue here.

So being able to create a new character with 20.000 "starter" EP will be much much better.

This way yo do not have to implement respecs and worry about possible abuse or anything like that.

Just my 2 cents.

I'd quit the game right now if they forced you into just guilding with people in your "faction". I'm not sure I understand that whole part to be honest, if it has anything to do with PvP or not.

Edit - To the Devs. I'm sure people wouldn't mind paying a few bucks or so for a respec if that may change your mind. I know I would ;p.

Am I reading the Market right? Example - Small Bullets - People are asking to buy for like 1 NIC yet they are on sale for like 30. What the hell? wink Seems a lot of stuff is pricey..unless I'm reading it wrong.

How well do you think I would be able to run 2 clients at once? Seems it's a little taxing on the PC from what I can see.

Duo e8500 3.6 OC
SLI 9800 GTX+ slightly OC
4 GIG RAM

I seem to run Perp on High with some AA enabled fine, more or less.

Anyone know of a way to link the planner to your client so when you pull it up your actual skills in game are somehow linked to the planner? Hope that made sense. I think it did.

What's the need for 2 accounts? I'm new so I don't know enough about the game to grasp the need for it. In UO I needed 2 accounts due to being able to macro off one another, but this is a little different seeing as how you gain "XP" through time. Unless you "need" a gathering/crafting char to get by in this game? I specced pure combat. I just assumed I'd PvP and loot people for stuff ;D.

New to the game, just didn't want to start a new thread regarding this. From what I gather missiles do low DPS but have the advantage of going over terrain, just not great on flat terrain? Issue here being most of the world is rocky and/or not flat giving the impression missiles may or may not be OP? My question is (unless I missed it) or it more being you all know what you're talking about - What are the pro/cons of Lasers/Guns compared to Missiles? Guns are intriguing to me, lasers are just cool ;p.

I'm not really thrilled with the fact EP is shared throughout the account in the first place. If this wasn't the case it might not be such a big deal I think. Since that isn't going to change..we do need a respec option. Either have it cost an *** load or as someone else suggested, you can click the skill you want to get rid of and it regresses over time and you gain that EP back.

Yeah, this needs done. I find myself running backwards (this way I can look behind me) sort of.

your talking about the landmark filters?

It's the icon farthest to the right listed as "Additional Icons". I'm assuming it has to do with the radar or on screen displays like friendlies, etc. Nothing seems to change on either though.

Edit - I just checked, youre right. It's odd cause the same options are listed under what I was looking at though, but it just seemed to work this way for what I was talking about (on screen clutter).

Anyone else have this problem? You know, the icon in the upper right corner where it looks like you can filter out stuff (objectives, friendlies, etc). I tried clicking on everything but see no change on screen or radar, whichever it's mainly for. The clutter on screen can get out of hand sometimes.

How big is your guys Corp? I like competetive PvP (miss you UO), but I don't like large "guilds". I prefer to run with smaller crowds, however..it seems like you guys might need more enemies than friends?

Hello!

Just looking for a corp who doesn't take things all too serious, like to be competetive, however aren't a bunch of knobs. Was an avid UO player back in the 98/99+ era, little DaoC, little WAR, not much since then worth mentioning. I'm 28 so I am looking for players in and/or around that age, but it isn't exactly deal breaking either. I'm running w/ a combat build currently, and probably here the same reason most of us are...PvP and a little freedom hopefully.

(US - EST time zone fyi)

Just curious if any kind of respec or harsh penalties involved in swapping skills around, if it's even possible? Couldn't seem to find it in the FAQ or anywhere. I ask, because I'm sort of intimidated about what I should put where due to not really knowing whats good for what atm (combat build). Couldn't seem to get an answer in-game.

<- - Rather sexy. Seems as though we have an influx of mannequins in this game running around ;p.
