That doesn't help your legitimacy of your software. Virus scanners will only look for viruses that are already known. you could have easily made a new one, and slap some random name on it.

You need to post your source code that can be viewed to the public. your making a fan related freeware, not a business prototype.

On top of that, I already made myself a crude spreadsheet of what your program does. No, I don't plan on publishing it; because its so crude/simple, any one can do it.

Uh there. ok, can you put it somewhere so it easier to find? I'm use to clicking on the share button and clicking on RSS. that link also blends in to easly.

Not very user friendly way to look for dev posts tho.

Just be happy you have a working search feature. eveonline forums didn't. well... we have a search feature, but it was ***. a player had to host his own search website that cached everything from the original forum.

I find it odd that you have share buttons for everyone and their grandmother, yet you don't have an RSS feed. I like to have dev blog news on my Igoogle homepage and read whats new from that.

can you add that button please ^.^

can you add a calculate button on the mini scan entry form. I like to use the mini on my game screen and the map on the other.

I'm trying to figure out how would you role play in this. some of us may be in the same control room. so far, I see it as people in their homes on their computers controlling robot. The lore is kinda unclear how we are controlling our robots.

Well this removes all concern then.

Also note that setting speed to 0 no longer works for bot time out, so the AFK Hauler would still need to do something occasionally or be timed out, so they can't just go to sleep and wake up in the morning.

Although, I didn't do this. yet when I woke up this morning, my afk miners were still mining. If anything, I came home from work to see a disconnected PC so my internet must have took a *** during the peek hours.

I guess we can take this thread to closed status then.

but doesn't someone thing that island is a bit out of the line?

I think your whole argument is not valid until you can look around the other A2 islands. I've been living in Tellesis, only because my corp operates there.

Max plants on Tellesis is 50, and they are harvested out near the terminal and heavy traffic areas.  Move away from it and that fixes your problem. Heaven forbid that you need to be in a light bot to harvest the hard to reach areas. Until I see other islands, I see no problem here. If anything, once I have a good foot in the door in EP and cash, I might explore other A2 islands since the A1 are laggy. I only go to B Islands to Ninja the high end ore. So sooner or later, I will get blown up.

I raise your 8 sequers mining AFK with 8 heavy mech miners. In the time it takes you to drive back to the terminal after your 8 hours afk mining (And risk of NPCs spawning on you) The 8 active miner group would have mined more. HDT prices are pretty stable as is the titan ore price. They're about 0.5 NIC each and that's about where they should stay. Liquizit isn't worth mining as if a corp has a liquizit bottle neck they're making a large number of T2+ gear and then can usually mine it themselves.

Liquids flow between times and having haulers mine is a real waste of mining cycles. It is possible to do it but it's not ideal at all. Just because you can do something doesn't mean it's profitable or smart.

so your saying I need to factor in the price of charges as well. In terms of location and NPC spawning, well there is no risk, at least where I am at. If anything, I need to worry about the spot getting minded out from others before I get back to check on it.

As for making it, I'm too young in EP for making stuff. if anything, I send it to my corp market and cut the tax cost from my haul. If mining is my primary source of income, then my accounts are doing nothing when I sleep and do RL stuff. so afk mining HDT is not a waste of cycles. as far as I know any way, I need to edit my spreadsheets and add cost of charges into the math.

So I've been mining for a good week or so, and I was thinking.

Liquid mining seems kinda broken in concept of AFK mining. In the past day, I pulled up in a hauler with a miner and mined for an 8 hour span. sure its not much money but when you get enough people doing this, the price of liquid items will drop to worthless and we will have  too much of it in the markets.

Did the developers thinks of this when making this concept?

Notice what I've bolded. Move to the other alpha islands and I bet this will correct your problem.

Not really a refugee, just want a change. I want to see what a single shard game looks like after birth. I'm a carebear and a little bit of PVPer.

I want to be with my fellow eve players, but I'm starting to think I should hang out with the PO players more. when I get home, I'm going to join a corp that's PO. I feel that my skills are more useful with them then with the massive corp that the eve players made already.

Other than that, if you have played eve, you know that these games do require some patience in the beginning, as the learning curve is steep. But there is a very friendly and helpful community here to aid.

When I was looking at this. the learning curve don't seem that steep. It took me an hour or so and I got the hang of it. I'm waiting for the devs to figure out a fix for the cap. I don't mind the wait, since I'm getting ep for doing nothing.
