It's optional in the sense that if you decide to mine a field with NPCs, you'll be likely better off with the module. Obviously you don't need it for an unguarded field.

It's really about the choice whether you want to sacrifice mining performance for your locking peace.

And if all minerals field are under NPC, how will you do ?

well its not only high risk. it might also be hard to get. that would mean to get a few combats as well to keep the npcs of the miners. its a mmo if i remember correctly. so maybe epriton will not always be for the casual single player miner. and i think there is nothing wrong with it.

Well, how did they work so far? As far as I know there are missions right now asking for other minerals than epriton.


I just tried a mission with HDT under NPC.

It's true , i used an argano ,you can tank them  with a termis or riveler except you can't avoid ECM and suppressor.

Don't try to balance modules when the balancing between robots is already broken.

Resistances, damages, accumulator regeneration, shield, robot bonus need a complete revamp before trying to change the modules.

A blacklist system with option to remove or add specific player when he attacks the buildings, should work.
