Topic Ideas:

1.)  I would like to see panelists from both of the major Beta alliances, and m2s, with some panelists from Alpha only corporations and possibly some of the new big ones like FOOM, AET and SUNDER discussing why they're not pursuing Beta access and what kind of incentives or penalties would need to be implemented to get them out there.

In my opinion, there is way too much wasted Beta space at the moment while Alpha has seen a big population increase; even from established Beta corporations (I've personally spent many, too many, hours roaming beta islands just to either find no one at all or a couple mechs/heavy mechs sitting under stations and no one anywhere else).

As an addendum, I'd like to know what impact the 'expansion' and particularly the free time on inactive accounts has had on the aforementioned corporations and their numbers and strategies.  It's easy to see where some people have gone, and why, but other corps seem to present a less clear picture or none at all.  I've also noticed that, with today being the last day of the free 15 days on inactive accounts, the average number of accounts online is above where it was before.  However Beta remains a ghost town as stated.

2.)  What role do lights/assaults play? Are they even necessary for anything at all (outside ewar)?  How could they be changed or the game changed to make them viable?

3.)  Ewar is very strong on every level in this game, particularly demobs/ecms/neuts, do people feel that it needs some diminishing returns as are in virtually every other MMO?  What about with regards to npcs?  It's very common to see newbies complaining in General and Help about how strong Ewar bots are, even Ewar from bots that aren't technically Ewar as many combat npcs have demobs/neuts/drainers as well, is there too much?

Other idea:  I'd *LOVE* to see a DEV sit in to comment/answer questions/give an idea of game direction with regards to the above topics as well.  It's well known that several of them actively listen to the podcasts and it would certainly be more personable than rare blog updates.

bump.

this is still broken.  kain + lvl 9 decoder = 4 hours 11 minutes at ics alpha and the same a galoly.  same efficiency, same cost same everything; another wasted trip.
