Any update on this Dev Calvin? would be nice to know that this is up there on someones to-do list as the Perp-kill Board has exploded on the scene and is an integrial part of alot of peoples gaming experiances.

Before the Argano Buff a Mk2 Argano was the dual boxers dream for cache hunting it could fit a LWF and a sheild, sheid hardner and the scanner and still speed it @ 82kph... Set sequer to follow and have a ball. Now that they added extra slots the Mk2 argano lost its thunder. Plus the Termis/Combat mech follow works better if your farming the kernals you spawned.

On topic Mk2 robots are perfect this topic was brought up about 3-4 months ago when the MK2s came out and the masses spoke then if you cant fit it full of t4 gear ... oh well train your fitting skills more. Use a Co-React/CPU if necessary. Being able to lock an extra target with any bot is great.

This topic needs to be in more peoples minds and dan it was only in there cause it did damage of some sort.

Tacklers, Drainers and ECM specialized bots/mech builds normally have no weapons. Perhaps the easy code fix would be to make all E-war mods do a fraction of damage .01 just to get it to show we did something, and make our e-peens grow as we watch our listed kill assists grow long........

Drive a lithus its a Diesel 18 wheeler sound with a nice low grumble... And all the TMA undocked sounds make me nervous as they sound like a picket being driven by a picket pounder in the early morning fog of a frozen winter day.... Sorry flash backs to being a combat engineer in the army. Had to turn them off.

Zoom in and really see what terrain difference there is and light bots are low-riders any way 3 meter rise will make you not have LOS.

Just pick up a second easy mission every 3rd or forth run you make. It will reset the 6/10 rule and make you some easy nic while your at it.

Wow I read the whole thing and I'm very suprised at whos posting the +s and the -s as many of the -s are coming from veteran yellow pilots!

BTW Critical hit is a huge DPS increase with auto cannons I can easily 1 volley T3 lights and T3 e/war and 2 volley T2/3 assaults with out plates of course.

When i started playing the game after release it was explained to me this way
Green was slow speed/consistant dps but low dps/sheid tankers/mid-high range
Yellow was mid speed/mid dps but los factor crit increase/armor passive resist/mid-Extreme range
Blue was fast speed/high dps burst dps/armor active tank/pointblank to mid range
That in turm factored in to the resist rock paper sissor we know and love of Blue - > Green - > Yellow  - > Blue

Greens are always gonna have extra AP sitting in the pool cause the launchers are almost self powered.

Quick look at a 0 ep toon in there starting bots
Blue cant fit 4 EM guns on his yagle (Reactor)
Yellow cant fire all 4 of his lasers on his prom after 4 shots (accumulator)
Green cant fit all the stuff he want castel cause of (CPU).
Is this unbalanced? no I don't think it is and suprizingly this will echo further down the EP trail of each of those pilots new bots/mechs. Jump in a Tyrannos as soon as EP allows with out proper data processing and tell me how much cpu it has.... its lol

Only complaint i have on my personal seth is d@mn its slow. That being said I will out "DPS" (not range) any thing walking with "compairable Skill level" with 6 t4 auto cannons which by the way weigh a ton in there own right.

I believe that yeah the seth is gimped a little in the speed department.

I'm gonna throw this out as i think it has been already you want us to discuss the # on 3 Heavy Mechs that will likely never meet solo 1 vs 1. How will the tide turn if the seth has 2 light e-wars with him? What happens when its 10 vs 10 (2 heavy mech 3 mechs 1 RR 2 assaults and 4 e-wars vs each other?) Battlefields and fighting is fluid and if you want to compare pure # vs #s its always going to look like someone has a disadvantage. Hence why combat sports always say on paper it appears this person has the advantage, or on paper this person wins 9 out of 10. Other things factor in to real encounters; Masking, AFK, Terrain, E-war, Distance to a safe place. And thats just the tip of the ice berg. 

TL;DR 
Unbalanced on a razors edge yeah.... Broke no.
Easy fix give the seth a 1kph over the gropho. Its not gonna break any thing as range and resists are untouched.

-1 on fits on KB if you want to know what your enemy is fitting go scan him if you can't remember 16 items that you fit on your own heavymech or less on other bots there's this cool thing called a notepad on almost all computers I've ever used, weird it works like a permanent post-it note. Also you can scan a player with your chassis scanner, open that persons profile far right tab is personal notes where you can write what ever you want about the person.... IE Known fits/bots or this persons fit is so fail i can 2 shot them/or OMFG bring the whole corp this is gonna be epic.

If you have a good idea to post up on how to make the missions funner/more productive/any thing lets do it and let the devs hear our ideas instead of just qq'in about how you can make more doing x-port missions.
Warning the devs can rip the wings outta your good idea fairy anytime they choose.


I want Daily Missions..... Have a set of random missions that must be completed with in 24 hours to reward a large sum of nic and a choice of ammo/raw material at end (Energy stuff thats planed to come to the game?)...
Lore:  The Conglomrates would post up a list of daily needs to be done... and we do them

  • All outposts/terminals will have there own set of random daily missions

  • Have each mission provides a normal reward for completion

  • If you accept your first mission at a terminal all other conglomerates (daily randoms) must be blocked to you for that day

  • If you fail to complete the group of missions before the 24 hour period you fail the group and receive no bonus

  • Missions maybe strung between island and profession ie. Move this package 12U from TMA to ICSA and accept the next mission there, Next mission has you mine 5U of titan on attalica, Next mission has you kill x amount of x spawn and take data consoles back to TMA

  • Make them random dont make 7 sets and just let them run for a week make 30 sets and have them select a few extra random missions from a pool

  • Missions may make you go to any island (including BETA) for any reason(farming/mining/transport/indy survey) if you do not complete this part of the mission(abort) your reward will be substancially lowered

  • Have the abality to abort or select an alternative Beta mission for a penalty, Large penalty to abort, small if you change the mission but keep the beta danger.

Thats my idea we can discuss this more or post up your good idea lets help the Devs understand what we want from PVE.
My mission attention span is very short to begin with but if you give me a goal to reach I will do them easily. I don't feel this will ruin the game in any way or negativly impact the sandbox.

Either way missions are on the Dev's radar and will get ECM'ed/Neuted to death as I'm sure they will cause great pain and long night to find a nice balance where people don't complain that one is better than the other.
Any one from the space ship game do Mining missions for Minedrill? .... They were the 2nd best paying LVL 4 missions in the game but no one wants to mine fake ore for $ when you could mine "real" ore and make a product/profit.

Go mine a few sequers of Titan/Stermonit/HDT then make a few assault bots sell said bots on market... Then judge risk vs reward if you could get the Epitron needed to make Mech / Heavy Mech and tell me how much more you would make with just a day of mineing the right mats. If your really obsessed with driving in circles making your 2 mil, I would suggest start running beta hauler missions for the fun of it... you'll realize Nic is nothing after you replace your 3-4th bot/mech. If your really that impressed with NPH ask Arga how much raw mats his riveler MK2 pulls in one hour... LOL I've heard it makes a black hole and all the plants start leaning towards his Mech.

Can you expand a bit on your multicolor idea?  What are you trying to accomplish?

I think he wants to have it so you could check a box saying Num OB II then check the box blue, then input the coords and then open a new one check a box saying PEL Indy III then check x color box input the coords. So the end product would be I shoot 3 shots and get all the locations with color coded rings then just match up green overlaying rings is this the blues are this purple is this.

End product would be a list with 4 colums with check boxes that has the factions, cache type, cache level, and a color for rings before you input the coords. Making multiple cache finding very easy. This would be an intresting addition. Hope I got that right Annihilator smile

I too noticed that New virginia has more lag that the other 2 original aphas perticularly while docking and undocking and turing in missions or marketing.

As for the second client ghost walking lol ever wonder why you see people walking threw un-navicable terrain on your radar?

I'm sure a IT guy would explain it better but I use simple none code readers terms.

Thats an intresting one, screen shot it next time so we can see the inside of a teleport terminal....

I'm assuming you can log back in on that toon now? If not contact a dev and have them check whats up with that toon. I know some people get stuck logged in but normally the server will kill the ghost you when you log back in.

Summs it up prefectly here the roamers normally head for the coast. Unless it was a player spawned cache. Mineing on tellesis I've only had to run from one roaming mob and they never chased me cause I saw them far away.

The SGO Kain is fast for an observer.

I think your problem was you were AFK long enough that that either wandered to you or they spawed on your location. Either way chalk it up to bad luck or learning. Also if it was right after a server reset lol you should have thought about that! What do you think respawns when the server gets reset.

I actually like this idea (Sanctums any one) all tho it will be hard to make the open for all to find or instanced for only 1 or a squad. Thats where the balance will come in. If its instanced this cave will only accept the person entering it or their squad? If its free entry how will you make said entry/exit function, will there be a cap on max capasity will it despawn/respawn.

I think the best way to do it would be like the artifacts but have it open to all squad members. Scale them like artifacts and have a few different types....

Mineral/mineshaft/farm where you find mineral/ plant tiles and maybe a guard or two and some enemy indy bots.
Barracks where you find a lot of guards and possibly spawn timers with a "boss" at the end of the tunnel/cave.
Technology where you can use a hack mod to gain access to possible CTs or proto type mods, decoders, fragments this would be heavly guarded with possible bosses
Stockpile same as mineral/mine except the items are already pulled from the tiles and in cargo cans.
Exploration tunnels that lead to other islands of even to a uknown island any random event could happen.
Observer entry large cave with an observer and his stash

I think it has already been requested and shot down but I believe it would help the PVE crowd immensly

This happened on Tellesis also.  Out on the "port/warf" on the north side on the beach it is  not labeled as un-navi on the map but sure enough go up there and try to run the beach down the edge of the warf/pier/port its impossible I was with in 138 meters and stuck in water....  Ran the 5000m back around the structure and i was 400m away... wasted 10 r10s before i gave in lol..as Annihilator said it will move in 24 hours.
