Topic: PVP for profit

PVP used to pay.

Then loot drops were nerfed, minerals changed, epriton moved, mk2 was introduced etc etc

This has meant that a Pvp death is around ten times the cost of the loot it drops.

I believe this should be rebalanced to be around four times.

How its done I don't care really but some suggestions might be:

Increase loot drop
Add mineral drop to PvP kills (in the same way as buildings)
Rebalance mech and not cost vs module
Add compounds drop to PvP kills
Rebalance insurance payouts for losses

Add salvaging/recovering/reprocessing mechanics which basically can be done on each wreck container. It will take about 10 minutes to complete and has a chance(25-50%) of returning Cortex if it was an MK2 bot, and some minerals and additional items that were destroyed otherwise. No-one will be forced to do it but anyone willing to go the extra steps will get his additional rewards.


It's just a suggestion, CBA to think if it's actually nessecary.

What about we drop plasma? (some other ideas: tokens, cortex, ct...)

Any more bigger things is not needed, still dont have enough U to loot the field.

coming from an STC agent a corp known to drive a lithus on pvp ops for loot.

Dropping plasma and cortexes would be fantastic.

Also, what is rationale behind doubling the U of damaged mods. I don't think that's necessary. Reducing that would help too.

Salvaging robot remains can be useful, but that shouldn't be some insta-action, it should be more or less the same than in that other game and require special modules/charges/bots. Otherwise -1

Reducing the size of a broken piece makes sense as its smaller from pieces missing or bent.

Yeah lets make artihunting more useless if you can retrive cortexes again...

I like the idea but i foresee problems if you can retrive some items.
